Time Magazine Person of the Year 2024

Yeah…and McGurk, Carey and Buti are world beaters. Even an organ grinder could do a better job and don’t get me started on the monkey.

I hope you’ve got your blood pressure pills on hand boys. ??

Can’t see that happening DD as it’ll need a change to the Constitution, but what is more likely is one of his sons will run for top job next time and if successful, will be the start of a dynasty with Trump the younger as President, and the elder running the show from the background. That’s a more likely scenario imo.

On another note, I see the Trumpet has ordered female trannie prisoners back into male jails. I’m sure all the Bubba’s currently incarcerated will be happy and Trumpy is probably just setting himself up in case his sedition and conspiracy charges ever see light of day.

I spoke at length to someone a couple of nights ago who lived in the US for many years and reckons the mistake punters like myself make, is that we see the person and not the politician.

Trump is a very divisive character and his abrasive, bombastic, self-centred and egomaniacal personality naturally puts people off, but this guy is of the view most American GOP voters with the exception of a few rusted on red necks who connect with the over the top image, look past it and resonate with his right wing policies.

This was borne out in the polls of 2016 and 2024 where Trump was never predicted to win outright but did anyway. That suggests to me there were millions of Americans who didn’t want to publicly support Trump because of his persona, but in the end quietly voted for him.

I think my mate’s view is probably right and although some of Trumpy’s recent musings around imposing tariffs across the board, pardoning 1600 J6 criminals and tax cuts for the super wealthy are just plain wrong, I tend to agree with most of the things he’s doing such as shutting down the borders, reversing the woke leftist policies of Biden and reducing the size of government.

Trumpet needs to move on from getting even and handing out retribution to anyone who opposed him in the past, as it takes his eye off the ball for things that really matter like the economy and global economic stability.

If and when he does that, I think the world will be a better place as countries generally are moving away from the ideological left wing socialists which have dominated in recent times towards a more sensible centre right which hopefully we’ll see in Australia in the very near future.

A FB mate from the US is really worried about Trumps decision to impose tariffs on Columbia for refusing the first plane load of folk being sent back. He heard a rumour that Columbia is going to impose really high tariffs on their drugs exports. He reckons his coke etc is going go through the roof. Might to move countries to maintain his habit at an affordable level.

I’m glad you had that chat with your mate BC. Hearing a different perspective from closer to the source.

Exactly where the freaks belong.
And the fact that Trans activists like Royal claim they will be subject to abuse and violence in the men’s prison? That’s just another reason to send them there.

Been saying that all along. People are quick to call Trump a fascist and nazi, but struggle to disagree with most of the things he is actually doing. Definitely a turn in the world with the adults back in charge.

And the sanity continues. Imagine giving a gun to a dude who thinks they are a woman? How on earth can your trust someone mental state if thats their mindset.

BC I think you have hit the nail on the head in regards to the main problem with this situation. Trumps whole modus operandi for his business and political career has been to shout down his adversaries and sack anyone who even remotely raises a voice of dissent to his actions. He is not going to change at this stage of his career. Threats and bullying may work in the short term but the end result is that he will be surrounded by yes men who are too frightened to give him a realistic picture of what is going on for fear of losing their jobs. It is good for a democracy to have strong opposing voices but Trumps ego is so fragile that he cannot take this sort of criticism. I notice that some of the people that Trump pardoned for the Jan 6 insurrection are out commiting crimes again, one dude was shot dead by cops when stopped for a traffic infringement

Totally agree Bob…let sanity indeed run its true course. It’s a given some of those pardoned Capitol numpties are eventually going to stuff up again, it’s in their fith DNA. Well played DT…more than one way to skin a naughty red neck it seems…thank fudge the police didn’t go all Biden woke with the red neck, and offer him restorative justice.

Well now they can join the BLM rioters back on the streets.
Although I dont agree with pardoning the ones who assaulted police.

Seriously, this guy needs to be committed. His comments after the plane crash in DC are disgusting.

Trump said the Biden Administration had encouraged the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to hire people “who suffer severe intellectual disabilities, psychiatric problems and other mental and physical conditions under a diversity and inclusion hiring initiative”.

He added the program also allowed the hiring of people with paralysis, epilepsy and dwarfism.

He also claimed that the FAA in the Obama years had determined the agency was “too white”.

All of what Trump said true isn’t it? If so BC why are you saying he needs to be committed? I had hoped you were on the improve. It’s looks like I may have called it too early.

The big issue is that the military helicopter on a so called training flight was intruding into controlled airport space where it had no business to be and collided with a scheduled aircraft about to land. Seems to me it’s the military that have a heap of questions to answer. Very sad situation for all concerned, but whether or not the Trumpet is right or wrong, the timing of his comments is completely lacking in morals ethics and empathy. Let the investigating authorities do their job and then comment on whatever the findings are.

No. None of it is true. He made it up…are you a complete simpleton or just a good actor because you’re doing a great job of convincing everyone you’re in the same parallel universe as your orange mate? Really, Biden encouraged the FAA to hire people with intellectual disabilities and psychiatric problems. Paralysis, epilepsy and dwarfism??? When asked how did he know, he said because he has common sense. He has no sense..he’s a dickhead.

I thought I had the patent for the word”SIMPLETON” B.C. but there’s no more appropriate description to use when you interacting with a Trump supporter,so feel free to use it.
