Once again he asks for a transfer to West Coast. It’s going to be pretty hard considering the draft pick order. Eagles have a couple of attractive trades (including Gaff even tho they said no), but the Cats want picks. Obviously Freo will be in the box seat, but it’s not home and hosed. Why would they draft a person that doesn’t want to be there? Still, it is Freo we’re talking about. If Eagles can’t get a deal done, TK would be better staying where he is or a great player could become an average player.
While I obviously hope he fronts up next year in blue and gold, I reckon it is a bit early to be bestowing greatness on him just yet.

Surely WCE 2019 first round pick and 2020 1st round pick plus a perhaps a Brander type as the steak knives compliment …not sure Geelong would want Vardy …would of thought pick 13 would get EF youngster in Luke Jackson for Geelong in the draft - outstanding ruckman in the making …
All those picks get pushed back one. GC been given priority picks 2 and first pick in the second round.

Probably doesn’t see anything exciting for Freo’s future - even a staunch supporter would have to admit they have been a basket case for years.. Still, if the Eagles don’t get him, be interesting to see if Freo can or he says, no way, I’ll go into the draft. That would tell a story. Don’t think he’d go that way though.

By that comparison Brandon Matera should get delisted. Ablett was one of the best small forwards up until last few rounds. Nearly made All Australian.
