This weeks game against Peelmantle

[quote=“Archie Duda Goal Machine post=203052”]At a quick count, only nine Dockers in Thunder’s lineup, 58shark, making the magnitude of East Perth’s defeat inexcusable.
We certainly can’t play that badly again (I hope not, anyhow), but your blokes certainly won’t be quaking in their boots leading up to next week.
Grump, I didn’t know Schofield was married to a Mandurah girl but had heard that our club was chasing him and that the financial offer fell a bit short.
I thought Schofield was BOG today, but I don’t know many other Peel players.

Nine AFL listed players in their side? That’s a piss off, but then it could have been the overwhelming influence of their “super coach”.
Sure, the Sharks won’t be quaking in their boots, but a lot happens in a week. Just look at the Eagles v SK game today.

This is true about a week being a long time in football, 58shark.
St Kilda put in almost as pathetic an effort against Essendon last week as East Perth did versus Peel today, yet the Saints’ last quarter-and-half against the Eagles was sensational.
With Fitzroy’s demise 25 years ago, I no longer have an AFL team but I do have a soft spot for the Sainters, meaning today wasn’t a complete wipeout.

It was a bit of a wipeout for me…Sharks losing, then the Eagles. Still, losing a close game to Subi has no shame and the Eagles live to fight another day!!

Yes, definitely no shame losing to Subi, as both Easts have now done.
Given they lost today and to Collingwood by a point during last year’s finals, I expect West Coast will make the Magpies pay.
