No Schoey, Girolami or Sokol but Blight and Petruccelle named which is good news. Miller under concussion protocols.
Ins: Jacob BLIGHT, Campbell HENDERSON, Jack PETRUCCELLE
Outs: Lucas BLAIR, Richard BARTLETT, Steven MILLER

Terrific game to watch and a great call on 7 exciting stuff.
Thought it was a very even contest.. nothing to be taken for granted play by play. As schoey said in the rooms, it feels great to win for a change.
Perth with schenslog playing probably win that one. Almost certainly. We couldn’t keep the ball off them and kept giving it back.
Loved the defence today. Galen and Blight make a pretty good team. Thought the Hickmonts gradually got into the game and evened out the contest by the end. Giro ditto.
Noah HH showed some real development in the last quarter. Douglas also. How good was Mayo in the last!
Really enjoyed that win after our close losses. Who knows what comes next.
Whatever you do,don’t let this week’s effort go to waste on next week’s opponent.
Terrific effort by the boys. Started slowly but worked our way back in. Great games by the Motts, Giro, Corbett, Rickson, Savigni is all class, McGowan and Blight with Mayo continuing his great form.
With 7 results so far this season within a goal, I’m coming to the view that this team works hard enough not to get blown away, but doesn’t possess the talent or depth to punish other sides and win convincingly like we used to a few years ago.
Miller should come back next week and hopefully Schoey and Girolami not too far way.
The less said about the maggots the better as 20 frees to 9 says it all including 3 in a row in the last few minutes which gifted Perth a goal and brought them back to a point.
A gutsy win and great result.
A good win against a good side.
Big efforts by clark and blight to play hurt.
Giro busy.
Lion hearted game by Rickson. Savigni solid under siege.
I thought Corbett to Constable turned the game.
3.Corbett 2. Savigni 1. Rickson
Yep. That’s all I’ll say.
Didnt Miller get concussion last week?
He will be missing for another 2 games yet (21 days).
I thought it was 12 BH.
21 days WAFL
12 days AFL
Bugger. Yes, I just checked and you’re correct. I’m not sure why there’s different standards as there’s no difference medically between the two.
Yep its been a bugbear of mine BC.
You come up against WART or FART and the vast majority of their players only miss 1 game with concussion whereas for a WAFL player they miss 3 games.
Just yet another inequality in the comp!
Yes and apparently players are asked to have 14 days rest before contact training can resume from what I’m told.
Whether they do or don’t would be a whole different story i guess.
Fully Agree, but after the 4 Corners Report and what Peter Jess said earlier this year, the AFL will have NO CHOICE but to expand the 12 days to 21 days.
Of course they’ll probably turn around and TELL the State Leagues(but not necessarily Competitions on lower rungs),they’ll have to make the Protocol 28 Days or Worse!
And do you think our Brave Souls in Tuart Hill will stand up and say,“NO!We’re staying with 21,the SAME as you!”
Let’s not hold our breath here,…

You were going for Subi weren’t you Baz?? I know you were good man
Do you seriously think for one nanosecond it was for Subi’s benefit?
Do you also think he’d go into an opposition Clubroom Win,Lose or Draw afterwards?
Pretty hard to do it from the couch.

We needed an upset to make the 5, there it is! Couldn’t make it yesterday just watched the replay, gutsy win. Lucky not to get blown away early but never say die under Schoey.
Bit of a worry re Blight and Clark. Was it hammys or corks?? Risky keeping them out there if hammys with possible finals looming. Hopefully they will be good for next week, won’t be easy wc are on top of souths atm and could get the win but still early in the match.
Rickson is a workhorse, super fit, hopefully he’s still growing in height being only 19yrs. I will mention Kelman, I admit I was wrong about him, although Schoey’s system is a lot different than Wardman, he is another that has seemed to thrive this year
I think he likes stirring up you blokes Grassy
gotta be corks DG.
soldiers back from here: schoey, soks, girolami, Mullane, Miller should all come back in that order in the next 3 weeks.
maybe we’ve had out injury quota?
No finals side would want to play a full strength Schoey Strangle.
Yeah I recon corks rr.
Those blokes back in make us a dangerous side. Just got to make the 5, won’t be easy but we can do it. As you said it will probably come down to the last game v the ferals. Must win v wc next
