The SFFC thread had posters and Fremantle Oval was packed.

Remember that anyone?

The biggest surprise for me is Dogman. He used to really drive the SF thread and the banter between Dogman and Freezin was legendary. I got to meet him a couple of times and used to sit and have a chat with him at P v SF games when I saw him, particularly on the outer at Fremantle Oval sitting on his deck chair.

I’ve seen him make a couple of fleeting appearances on here but he doesn’t hang around. I’m guessing he’s given it away going to support the doggies as well which is sad.

gone, hardly goes to games either.

Jumped on the AFL bandwagon or become a monk? It might not be the version we were used to but it’s all we got and still a pretty good product albeit not a very fair competition. Hopefully that’s about to change.

Pretty sure he’s only in his 40’s too maybe early 40’s or maybe still in his 30’s. Woof Woof are you out there dogman chasing cars and sniffing butt holes? Get back on board.

Its the product that people arent interested in anymore.

Whats about the change? the team that gets beaten by Subi in the 2020 GF?

Yeh someone is going to have to take a quantum leap or Subi have to fall into a slump. Maybe a bit of both. Hopefully it’s not one of the AFL reserves.

cannot say this comp is anywhere near healthy - it’s simply a training exercise for the VFL and the colts takeover ended family days at the local grounds
interest is nearing zero now and that’s a far distant cry from what we grew up on

Pretty much cooked, and no one seems to care,

they know full well there’s very few of us left able to go to the front line and that there’s not many State legends able to get a blockade up & running
I can tell you quite truthfully that many of those luminary blokes can’t stand the game , particularly the VFL , and don’t watch any of it
and finally the coup de gras was that self appointed god Sheahan dispatching that Ablett creep to take over the colts

Dogman loved the banter with everyone DD…very passionate SF man…tho did hear that he was big into his lawn bowls which clashed with the footy…priorities I guess.

Spot on, the battle has been lost.

One of many that have drifted off
