That’s because its arrived. Time to dump Darling. Doing bugger all but so are many others. Sincair is BIG & got 6 against PERF yesterday. Gaff & NicNat must have got the message.
I agree - Darling out, Sinclair in. And keep McGovern in also.
Yep, bring in Sinclair. I said it before - why do they keep bringing in Lycett over Sinclair? Lycett’s not worth a cup full of cold water so far. Oh yeah, surely Wellingham must be due to be dropped back to the reserves again? He’s been the biggest disappointment since coming over.
Time for cox to get the tap on the shoulder…
But , but, but BAZZA S&S,Bobby Skilton, they were going to make the top eight…weren’t they!!!
Talk about down hill skiers Poor old Multi got another one wrong.
That’s three I got… how many have you picked?
Not yet bazza. The fact is, there’s something wrong there and the whole team is playing at 60%. Still, as a commentator said recently, when Lyon took over, freo copped a lot of floggings till they picked up his game plan. Who knows with the WCE…but I do know that Simpson has got to stop being the nice guy.
It was interesting when Hardy was talking to Simpson last night that he said he was told by people within the Eagles that players were cheating by not doing the training load completely, as required, and he implied that Simpson had acknowledged the fact. Simpson denied it and stuck by his players. To me it sounds like Simpson has inherited some lazy players and will need to sort through them. The problem is with the players and I think Simpson, if given the time, will correct the situation, the list isn’t that bad.
Maybe he could go to your beloved Sydney Swans Bazza old chum.
But since when have you had any interest in the AFL? You told us all you couldn’t care less about.
Jb I think the list is that bad. look at their best players on the weekend against the Hawks,Gaff, Shuey,Naitanui,Priddis, all well and good they played well, but they are all players who don’t hurt other clubs with their possessions.
They have no differing game plan and their list hasn’t got any one banging the door down to replace any one in the side.
I think come seasons end Simpson will have his list of trades and some of the above mentioned will be on it.
I think with the exception of the midfield, the list is ok and even Priddis, as slow as he is (bit like Barlow)with a few good strong mids around him is more than useful. The forward line is very strong and back line is good. I reckon the problem is the attitude of the players and the new coach hasn’t been able to reign them in yet. Think you will see some changes at end of season with some retirements and some trading, but won’t be huge numbers and a much improved side next year. Simpson is used to winning and won’t accept the efforts so far. Can’t change it overnight, but he will at seasons end.
Almost every kick from almost every player was for distance. A bomb. All crap, resulting in Spanghers best game for the Hawks. He took more marks from Eagles then every other player. Kicking long is the simplest strategy for the dumbest player. Simpson would be furious coming from the Hawks to see such crap. And the reason for that is all the players are too lazy to run hard into space for short. The team is mostly a bunch a bums at this stage.
What is the first thing that breaks in a sinking ship?
… The Glass
What ship has never docked in Fremantle???
A PREMIERSHIP !!! :woohoo:
Still need Darling OUT but wasn’t the GOVERNATOR great against Suns.
I was really impressed with how McGovern played on Saturday. He is going to be a great player for us. For a young bloke to attack the footy in the manner he did was great to watch.

And did it again. Took a great grab in the pack. Worked well with Darling & Kennedy. We’ll see after the Prawns next week.
If the eagles drop lycett for cox this weekend that pretty much says where they are at and where they are going “NO WHERE” Unfortunately as much as a great servant of the club coxy has been he spends most of his time these days playing for free kicks waving his arms around and complaining to umpires. Sad to watch. He is either cooked or carrying injury.
I get the feeling Lycett is being played to increase his trade value.
If this is not Coxy’s last year then next year certainly is.
Beating 18th placed Saints by a couple is woeful.
