Seems that Mitch Marsh has hung up his red ball boots.
He said he was retiring earlier, but will not play in the Sheffield team for WA this week. So Bye bye Bison.
Been a great stalwart for the State and Australia.
I believe he retired after playing the one red ball game back in late November or early December

What I read he was expected to play the SS out, but he is not playing in the game this week.
The cricket Australia has the following in its report when talking about players returning for SS cricket
while national T20 captain Mitch Marsh retired from first-class cricket after his last Shield appearance for WA in December.

I thank him for his services to Australian and Western Australian Cricket and for his sacrificial decision in allowing new blood to come in,if Voges and Co allow that to happen.
Pity his actions aren’t being reciprocated by others in the WA squad
