Any news on retirements, new recruits etc for this season from any of the clubs?
I imagine with the new WAFL structure this year there may be a few ex WAFL players
coming our way?
This is what I have heard so may not be fact
AMR- Out- Tim & Ben Noakes, B.Franz, C.Enders
BSN- In-K.Hams
Carey Park- In- Scott & David Roche, M.McMillan, M.Robinson.
Collie- Out- B.Malatesta, J.Swallow
Donnybrook- Out-C.Billings, D.Bilson
Eaton- Out- M.Scott, J.Branchi, M.Jas
In- D.Fuller
HBL- In- Kristin & Bryce Thornton
Out- X.Teague
HB- In- P.Pohlenz-Saw, A.Rake, C.Callaghan
Out- P.Jetta, B.Jetta
SB- In- B.Robinson, T.Gray, T.Geappen, M.Borg
Once clearances can be viewed on sporting pulse will have a clearer idea.
M.Borg to Souths?? First I have heard of it.
T.Geappen I believed was going to stay at Swans but just noticed he retired last night so im trying to find out what is going on there.
B.Robinson we are confident of. Same for T.Gray. Good ins. We have lost Tindale and Ellen from last year though. Very handy players at important times so it was crucial to get some quality replacements.
J.Humm has left AMR I believe as well. Rumour has it J.Taylor is leaving Busso to play with mates at Mt Lawley.
A.Parker potential to join mates at Bunbury and with m.Re returning perhaps as well? Might have to do the old Harvey/Farmer trick and field 21 players some times.
D.Fuller quality player.
Heard Parker has been training with the Perth based Bunbury players.
Re is back from his travels and will be playing this year for Bunbury.
Heard through the grapevine the other day that Robinson is on quite a lucrative deal to be playing in the SWFL.
Anyway good luck to him, would want to get a kick for that kind of coin.
How much coin is a lucrative deal?
Who won the carnivals yesterday?
South Bunbury beat Eaton
Carey Park beat HBL
Carey Pak beat Eaton
HBL beat South Bunbury
Im not sure about other grounds but its Carey Park vs Collie GF on Saturday night.
After playing his last match for South Fremantle in R10 on Foundation day, am led to believe Kris Miller is pulling on the boots again. Heard on the grapevine will be suiting up for Donnybrook in the SW League. Apparently playing for the Dons until the end of the season.
Miller will probably end up at Mundijong with his brother and 4 or 5 other ex team mates
Miller played for Donnybrook on the weekend and lasted about 30 seconds before doing his hamstring.
Embley injure himself as well?
Miller would have been a good pick up
Pretty sure Miller was cleared from Goldfields but maybe because that was his junior club. Where ever he goes it will be very good for country footy. Still has plenty to offer on and off the ground.
