Another sunday season is here, pity this site cant wont be here for the season.anyway as I see it
Baldivis vs Queens park
Last season saw these teams were evenly matched with Baldivis proving to be the better team over the season.
QP have picked a lot of new talent for 2016 and although their fitness aint quite there, they should pick up a first win.
Dwellingup vs Midland
Dwellingup at home should see a full squad ,where Midland might struggle to get all their blokes up to the country.I think Midland will start this season with a win,as long as they get their full mob there.
Bayswater vs Koongamia
Saturday game ,and Koongamia always roll up with a competitive team.havent seen Bayswater for a few years, but with them going back to a single team in the amos suggests they are struggling…Koongamia for me
Innaloo vs Warwick/greenwood B
Good on Warwick for again having 2 teams in this comp.Numbers dont seem too good at Innaloo judging on the 'player wanted’adds ive seen, but being early season who knows how many will jump on board.
Warwick/greenwood’s second team will have a good crack as per usual, but i reckon Innaloo will take the points
2 Byes this round
Warwick/greenwood,last seasons premiers will again be the team to beat and should go through the season in the top 2.
Alkimos.always keen for a game and should press some of the lower teams for some success..
Good luck to all this season, sunday footy is alive and kicking
Early results have Koongamia getting over Bayswater in the Saturday game.
And Queens park did enough to roll Baldivis in a 1 sided game…credit to the Baldivis mob who never gave up and played the game in good spirit.
2 rounds to go in this metro footy and its still alive.
Queens Park on top and with a running midfield should make the finals.
Koongamia have a great forward structure..their midfield runs all day
Alkimos..dunno about this mob .win the easy games ,lots of sponsors so hay they must be ok
Baldvis..Their 3rd team ? always competitive and will try and stay in the 4 this weekend.
Warwick/Greenwood…last years Div Premiers…never under wright this mob off..they have to win every game to qualify…they probably will
A different comp I know,but Everytime I look up the WAWFL(I think),I get last year’s fixtures. :woohoo:

The season is done…Queens park are 2016 premiers.Finished 4 games on top and were obvious favorites …the game was played in good spirit and credit to all involved.
Grassy…there is some talent in this team that are within your perth area..2 fellas are great, and they have the potential to go further
In 2017 Queens park again were league premiers with the ressies getting knocked out in the prelim..
Looking on the MFL site there are 2 new clubs..Beechboro and Balga… Rumour has it that a peel club may wanna join its 3rds team, plus 2 other existing clubs maybe putting in a second team.
2018 home and away games all done.
League sides from Queens park,Safety bay, Kelmscott and Midland are very exciting teams and results will depend on the day…plus Baldivis (their ressies just missed the finals) could be the dark horse.
Ressies saw Koongamia and Balga dominate the season and should make it to the big dance…Brighton,Innaloo and Queens park will have a crack but the 2 top teams are well drilled.
From a personal note,my club would hold its own in amateur c2-c3 so the quality of footy is great.
Gidday countrybuck..yep serious mate..ive seen games at c3 last year and games at c2 this year, and the quality of footy is comparable.
Come and have a look on day
Well after a great quality game in the GF Queens Park again won, going back to back to back..the game was played in great spirit from both clubs ( QP and Midland) and the online live steam from the smashcrew made it a day to remember..the umps did a great job…and from this success some of our blokes have been invited to train with our local WAFL club
2019 season started sunday ,with new club ECU joining the division 1,and Kenwick joining Div 2. Safety bay and Gosnells failed to get a team, while Dwellingup an Baldivis joined the Peel comp.
This season Innaloo,Queens park,Balga,Warwick/Greenwood and Kelmscott all have teams in both divisions.
The comp is very competitive as was shown when teams played scratchies against amateur c2 teams..
