They sure gave it a crack and I’m sure Schofield is Itching for Subi to reassert it’s Old Supremacy against the Demons.

Will the Lions get Taj Schofield,Jacob Blight and even Ben Sokol back?They’ll lose their handy recruit Stephen Miller for 2/3 games,due to concussion.Jack Petrucelle should come back from a silly Suspension,unless he gets another whack by playing Reserves.We’ll find out soon enough.
Blight may or may not miss another week,if he does have a cracked bone in his hand.
As for the Dees,do Riley Wills and Scobes come back?Let’s see.We lose Schlenga for a week through the Bye.He may come back for the Peel Game at Home,or hold him over for the week after against Swans the week after.

Yes Grassy. Subi could be missing Blight, Schofield, Girolami, Sokol, Robbins, Steven Miller, Mullane on top of Bravo, Snadden, Cooley who have already been ruled out for the season.
I have no doubt the boys will have a crack, but lack of depth and losing 5 games by 8 points or less will come back to bite.
Surely our players and coaches have learned some lessons from the performance against East Perth at Leederville a few weeks ago. One Dee supporter made a lot of sense a couple of weeks ago when he said when we are going to play at Leederville, don’t train here go and train on a soft muddy track elsewhere. Makes a lot of sense. I think rain is forecast all Friday night.
It’s got nothing to do with handling a wet football, it’s playing on a soft deck underfoot. They fill up wheely bins and soak footy’s in them all the time.
Would be nice to play every second game on a bowling green surface but that cant be the case in WAFL. Actually Leederville is in much better condition for this time of year than it has for decades, so I’m sure your lads will be able to cope with a bit of slip n slide. Could be worse, could be on the Basso floodplain oval. (ps love watching footy at Basso but it is a mud heap in winter.)
If we are worrying about the state of the ground on Saturday then we are stuffed already.
Grassy seems obsessed about it but I see it as a chance for us to show everyone that we are a serious threat. Although I must say I am not that confident we can beat Subiaco.

Couldn’t question the endeavour but execution at times was very costly. Davis was everywhere in first half then nowhere in second when needed. Clarke had a day he’d rather forget. Good to see Edwards come back on after going off during 3rd qtr. Anyway we’ve made life a lot more difficult for ourselves. Wish the commentators on 7Plus would just dial it down a fraction, appreciate they are trying to generate some enthusiasm but is actually detracting from the broadcast
