Great day of footy today and a great result for Peel. Thought Subiaco were highly competitive and the game was played in great spirit infront of a great crowd.
Thought Blair Bell was Peels best today along with Matthews aswell as Barnes and Fyfe on debut.
Congrats to the 5 players who debuted (Egan, Hewitt, Fyfe, Egan and Barnes)

And following mike’s theme, looks like Subiaco are a side on the improve showing they can take up to the big boys and give’m a run for their money. They too look to have a bright future. Hang in there fella’s, there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
No to sure all this song and dance about this debutant Fyfe…wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest, if he is dropped after that effort v Subi and never plays again for Peel.
[quote=“ArkRoyal post=220017 userid=1915”]Since 1987, media nonesense aside, I have never seen players dominate at league football in this state.

Maybe Chris Judd Ark, in his one and only game for the ferals
Good posts lads-- I reckon those guys all had a hard time getting a handball from one of their team-mates.The two VFL clubs, of course, refuse to acknowledge this.
From what Justin Longmuir said last night, Fyfe will not be our guest at Bassendean this week. So just the one WAFL game. It will be interesting to see where he slots in and who misses out because the Dockers have been a pretty impressive combination in the last few weeks.
Good point Mikeh, Freo are travelling pretty well and Fyfe, as good a player as he can be, could throw the balance of the mids unit out, at least to start with, but on the upside the opposition will throw their best tagger on Fyfe which will help Brayshaw and Brodie. brodie must be the recruit of the year.
They might look at Fyfe at CHF, but then again he cant hit the side of a barn when shooting for goal.
