Subi v Wankers

Yeah a big let down after last weeks gutsy win. Pretty much done now probably finish 7th ferals have joondy and souths have old easts and we are a game behind them both so…

Probably end up where we all thought so at the end of the day surprised to be in the running for the 5 this late in the season and with so many close ones things could be different. Need to fkn recruit a good big ruck, ffs, been dragging our arses on that one for far too long now and if they don’t get one this time around I’m fkn done

It looked alot like the last freo game;

Dominated by a huge ruckman and beaten for speed.

it looks as simple as the AFL recruiting premium on speed and agility, although that doesnt explain WC being shit for so long?

The WC academy kid (ken?) looks AFL standard

2026 Subis lack of depth was exposed by injury, and we need some speed and agility in the middle. Our current mids setup is too dour and defensive. When they do win the ball, its most often banged on the boot.

we need a monster mobile ruckman, some outside mids with tricks, and some KPP depth.

Probably another off-season like last year from a recruiting POV.

Will summarised Rocket. Will Hickmont had a quiet game. Thought Giro and Liam H were a bit down. I couldn’t fault the effort.

Re the luncheons, Subi are entertaining sponsors on the two decks underneath the main grandstand. Probably a good initiative. What else do the sponsors get out of the deal sister from the satisfaction of making a contribution.

Well,at least that’s something to some degree.

Heard from someone who was there, there was about 10 people there at your luncheon against Perth and mostly people from WA Football eating party pies and sausage rolls. Gone are the days when you used to charge 150-200 a head including admission to Subiaco Oval. How the mighty have fallen.

If any of you guys have seen the last 3 games against that mob,you must be doing your heads in.

Rebuild or not,Fix that Issue!

Apparently the Subi bar has been “outsourced” to the Leederville Hotel, so perhaps the catering has as well.
I know the Combined Past Players half-time function is limited to two jugs only, as apparently it’s too expensive for Subi PP to purchase any more than that.

Sounds like the club is trying to break even after some net losses in the last few years. You gotta live within your means and we’re prioritising on field spending.

Could be right when I had a frothy during the last qtr of the reserves game I noticed a couple of young fellas behind the bar whereas in the past there’s 1 or 2 old Subi die-hards.

If you’re a frequent visitor to the bar then likely you’d remember the bar manager Paul Pisani

oh please! Everyone knows what Subi was doing. I won’t put it on here but the entire WAFL world knows how they got through it all legitimately. Doesn’t make it right.

Yep. Paul, a long time Royals follower, was “let go” by Subi bar and now works in the East Perth members bar (with EPFC shirt)

On good terms with blessings I hope,…

He’s loving it, and so are we.

I saw those comments last night, but I’m afraid “the land of milk and honey”day’s are over Clarky!! we’re my first thoughts, and Schoey will have to work extra hard if he wants that 4th premiership.

That young ruck you have looks a gooden DG, we haven’t had a genuine ruck since Keunen but won a Flag with Yukich playing a role. I have no doubt you lot will buy one from the East.

He would be a great key back to give Blight a hand, like he played in this year’s 18’s. He’s 198cm a bit short for ruck Leedy but has a good crack against the 200cm+ giants. Yukich is a 200cm giant
