May as well move to Cockburn now, though that would complete the Commission’s Total Failure regarding the “population corridor” that is the Peel Region.
So is to be Peelmantle or Cockburn Thunder?

I couldn’t care less my only interest is no injuries to Freo players.

Lets hope they play with that in mind, it will give us a better chance, cant see it as they are all fighting for a spot in round 1 so I expect them to be full on.
you’d be nice a pi$$ed off if you were a chunder colts or ressies player last year and wanting to progress to the one’s this year…what hope would you have?
hear hear SS. the WAFL would have known when drawing up fixtures that the AFL season was starting a week after ours and that big numbers would more than likely drop back to WART and FART. It would have made sense to me to schedule those two against each other. They probably would have got a big crowd of non-WAFL supporters going along for a look given it’s a pseudo WA based AFL club derby.
So Peter,in the end, when push comes to shove, you’re an AFL man,1st and Foremost?!

Don’t know how you came to that conclusion, I follow Perth couldn’t give a shit about any other side in the WAFL, as you well know my AFL team is FREO so it stands to reason I don’t want any FREO players injured.
And shock horror if I was AFL 1st and foremost, I would be in the majority not the minority like yourself, you need to get over your unhealthy obsession with the AFL.
With round one being the week before the afl it would make sense to schedule east Perth v peel in round one wouldn’t it

TOO, the simplest solutions are often the best, that makes absolute sense. And the other key 1st round fixture should be the GF replay Su v Joondy, 2 good games comprising last years finalists that can be promoted on a non AFL weekend.
Subi are the only team capable on and off the field in the comp to handle a strong Peel or EP side with OTT AFL listed players available…shouldn’t be the responsibility of lesser teams being thrown to the slaughter…hopefully Cl can beat EP tho…save the Peel v EP games till the AFL derby between WCE and Freo…
Thanks Southerner – I think we may struggle just a little bit.
People have made some good suggestions about how to mitigate this problem – having the AFL clubs play each other and so on — but this would effectively mean admitting the alignment is having an adverse affect on the competition.
The present commission will never accept such a proposition.
Well you can expect a trillion interchanges from the AFLscumbags because all the faggot heirachy will be in the stands dictating to Shitpheard in the box
Well done Subi. I am so looking forward to a summary of the game from those who were there, especially the last quarter, wow, must have been tense. I just had to sit back here in NZ and keep refreshing the wafl.com.au page for progress scores. Was glad when it gave the final score!!
I did notice that Jackson, Sokol, Bradley and Mahoney all had under 10 touches. Injured or didn’t get much of a run??
