This bloke cant mark, cant kick, can hardly handball, has poor decision making skills, I can go on & on with all of his deficiencies and yet somehow this bloke keeps getting a game let alone relisted.
One thing he can do is spoil/punch the ball but there would be 7 better full backs playing in the WAFL than this spud.
Dawson would not have made it to WAFL Reserves level 30 years ago!

On current form and our seasons record (Claremont, SF were last placed), it is a realistic possibility , I for one will be very nervous when sitting on the hill v Peel in less than a fortnight ! Add to this that we will be coming off a trip to Melbourne on a 5 day break, could not be a much worse scenario.

BH…to me Dawson plays on the oppositions 3rd tall forward…McPharlin takes number 1 and Johnson takes number 2…then Zac at three…at some point Zac is at FB during a game due to positional rotating…but gone are the days of set positions…
The old breed of fullback used to take the oppositions number one tall forward,like what Ames does for SD in the WAFL. I reckon Ames could do Dawsons job,but realistically he would never be good enough to mark the opposition number one tall forward like he does in the WAFL…fellas like Roughead, Franklin,Cameron,Brown,Reiwoldt,Cloke, Kennedy and Petrie would eat him alive…but saying that they would eat Zac alive, thus why Lukey Mac marks them…but even he isn’t Freo’s designated fullback!

Dawson played one game for Perth a couple of years ago. It was one of the worst performances ever by an AFL listed player, and that’s saying something. We have had some beauties over the years. He was playing on Josh Smith and basically was out classed.
Josh Smith has pantsed many a defender in the WAFL…dont forget there is not much a defender can do if the midfield delivery is spot on and your own midfielders arent good enough to pressurize the delivery coming in…something Freo’s midfielders do very well…THUS making up for Zacs obvious deficiencies as a defender!..
Up all day against West Perth and still manage to lose by a point. Hilarious!
