Spot on PN. Reality is (AFL) is a small sport in a small country (population wise), BUT here is AUS we are led to believe it ( the AFL) is such a big important sport, that is beyond anyone or any governing body. WADA got Lance , who i am sure had a helluva lot more clout than Essendon. I wait with anticipation for the REAL outcome.

Essendon went to court hoping to have the case brought to a quick close but also with the purpose of showing the football public what has been going on behind closed doors with ASADA the AFL, Govt and their output through the media. They have always known they will need to answer the show cause notices at some stage.
If ASADA has so-called evidence identifying the alleged drug use which they did not detail to the players in the show cause notices then why did they even bother defending themselves in court. As they keep saying they can re-issue the notices 24hrs later so why waste 3 million dollars of tax-payers money to defend their right to the joint investigation if the result of the court case doesn’t matter to them anyway.
Jeff Kennett calling for a royal commission in to the whole sordid affair is quite likely the next stage of proceedings in what appears to be a very corrupt investigation. So much for Gill’s dream of this going away quickly & quietly.

You do know that this drug is used on Aids patients, so why would the Bombers be using it, Dank was summoned by Asada he instead sent his Lawyers Dank has said on numerous occasion the Essendon players took nothing banned and yet he wont be interviewed and put this to bed.
As for Asada being incompetent yes they were understaffed at the beginning of the investigation since then though they have rectified that I don’t know what you mean about fishing its all being signed off by a former Usada lawyer, Asada and WADA lawyers and a former federal judge all the ducks are lined up, there is only one reason this went to court and that is to stall for time, and what do you expect from that turd of a president who only believes in litigation the only reason he took Evans job was because Evans wanted to do a deal with the AFL and asada and Hird got the sooks about it and stabbed his great friend in the back.

Yes because when the police investigate a case they show everyone that’s involved the evidence that’s how they catch perps out lol.
The arrogance from the EFC and it’s supporters shows no bounds ASADA don’t need to communicate with Little they issue notices and then it’s up to the players to respond to the evidence you and Little need to read up on the anti doping code and learns how they conduct their investigation it’s actually written by Wada.
When this is over EFC will go down as the biggest disgrace in Aussie sport there’s even murmurs of 7 players launching legal cases against Essendon you could be demolished when the money runs out through lawyers fees.
