SF v CL umpiring

Interview at half time with Zac Mainwaring.

“Yeah it’s always tough again South, they’ve come out playing dirty!”

What a flog you are!! Wonder why no AFL club has been in contact - because everyone can see what an up ya self, cocky, inflated ego type of arrogant stain you are!

Free kicks at half time CL : 19 SF : 4 Eastland : 6

:open_mouth:

And the shite umpiring continues, another reversal free kick to kick a goal. Mainwaring again.

I’d be walking off the ground soon!! Just fucing horrible

Fuc you Claremont / fuc your supporters / fuc the umpires

Jermaine Jones / Blechendyn / Strom / Ruscoe to come in over the next few weeks.

Found some hardness and consistency today!!

Awesome job doggies!!!

12th Man Bill Lawry has come in off the long run,…

hard to believe one player can receive 7 free kicks

reckon maybe 3 were probably right calls but the rest were just footy play

I thought Souths were pretty ordinary in that regard too last week against Subi with late hits and a terrible sling tackle on Schofield, but the umps gave them the benefit of the doubt so think you should take the good with the bad doggie and stop sooking.

Eastland is a protected species.

As are Claremont and they have a couple of nasty little shites in Barron and Elliot that get away with murder.

At least Barron wasn’t playing today.

At least the biased umpiring didn’t occur in a GF like it did in 2016 when FART received 19 frees to Subi’s 6 with only one after half time.

Clearly the WAFC gave the umps instructions that their love child needed to win to justify its existence and also allowed them to parachute in 17 full-time professionals for the GF.

Yeh but no-one gave a shit back then BC because every non Subiaco supporter was sick of your club dominating the competition. It was just a different kind of unfair advantage you had.

But now with this so called competitive balance policy the WAFC has implemented it’s unacceptable to have one team having such an advantage. It defeats whole purpose of the competitive balance policy.

Peel just should not be allowed to recruit outside of the WAFL, period.

I was sick of their dominance as well, but considered them the lesser of 2 evils, after the Sh*t Fremantle pulled on Foundation Day Weekend in 2016.

Fremantle, therefore Peel had very little sypathy with me.

That was actually 1 free kick after 1/4 time BV.

I’m still seething :joy:

What was the unfair advantage back then RnB other than we took a semi-professional sport to the next level?
Subi had the same points and salary cap as everyone else and don’t start about the Subi Oval seats arrangement as Subi is one of the very few clubs which hasn’t been found out cheating the salary cap which I can’t say about yours. Chris Bossong immediately springs to mind.

Well let’s say you were very shrewd at skirting around it and leave it at that shall we? How have you gone since Optus was built?

Agree with most of what you said except Bossong.

But let’s not rake over those old hot coals again.

3 premierships since Optus was built…your mob?

That list was pretty good until those retirements. Now you are on level footing with the rest of us and dropped back in the pack and have to compete in a level playing field. So much so you are now receiving cap and points concessions. And heaving financial losses.

Umpiring?

What Umpiring?

We did ok!

Eastland 42 frees for and 16 frees against for the season!!! Seems to be winning the ruck lotto

Whinging helps. The Quentins are a pack of squealers who co-umpire the game.

Aaron Clarke doing pretty well with 14 free kicks for and only 3 Frees against for the season.

Always going to be some players in the positive and some in the negative.

Well,in his case, getting in front helps.Makes it hard for Defenders to consistently spoil from behind.Even good ones who held him, like Jasper Peace couldn’t quite keep him quiet.

When Aaron coughed up free kicks,I daresay he got caught behind his opponent,so occasionally the boot was on the other foot.

Fair call,take your Free.
