Yeah,theyâll put him ahead of Webster,which is Fair enough if they think heâs the better all-rounder.
But if his back is playing up,despite all that management of theirâs during Shield Cricket,he shouldnât be as far as Iâm concerned.

Webster in for Ingles for me, why play Josh as a batter and bat him at 7. Oh and he got bowled by a straight one in Adelaide, played all around it when bat and pad close together would have been enough to stay at the crease

I think Webster is unlucky, but Green has more prospect than him.
Webster in for Inglis if they want some more flexibility.

Canât see Green being dropped, the only player in the team under 30 surely CA need to look at some succession playing.

Just on batting alone, youâd have to pick Green. You get 8 - 10 overs out of him then thats a bonus. Has looked dangerous with his pace and bounce in the short spells heâs bowled in the ashes so far.
It wouldnât matter if heâs not able to bowl he plays as a batsman regardless.
And reading today somewhere. it looks like Boland misses in Adelaide, saving him for the Melbourne test.

Starc wont want to rest the Sydney test being his home ground can see him wanting to play all 5, It would not suprise me if he then had a month off before the world cup in India
Not sure Boland needs a rest, they have only played 6 days of Test cricket so far!

Just going by what I read earlier today.
@PremiershipHangover I really donât see Starc wanting to miss out on the Boxing day test either.
And I donât see him wanting to miss Adelaide as they would wrap up the series with a win there.
No I in team thoughâŚwould of thought watching Eng implode like they have of late, that would be a classic example of a path Aust doesnât want to go downâŚStarc will waiver, the guy is a beast resilience wise, but quality over quantity, especially since the remaining 3 tests wull come thick and fast.
Just saw that the Spazzballers are not taking a spinner to Adelaide, one of the few venues that traditionally takes some spin especially from day 3 onwards ⌠if it gets that far. The soap dodgers going full pace attack so could be a bouncer barrage on a strip that really hasnât really been suited to that tactic in the past, certainly nothing like an Optus or Gabba pitch.
