SD V WP

Always a tough assignment at Basso. C.Lynch & Kernutt out injured, most punters tipping Swans.

Aiden Clarke looks like he might be missing so that’s a big loss for Swans. It will depend on how our defence can hold up. Knott always seems to play well against Swans. Should be a very competitive game.

Yeah really tough game now if those outs you mentioned Whinnen occur.Who do you think will come in - maybe Murray and Riddoch? It would be great to know because the damn WAFL team selection site doesn’t have anything on it.I can’t believe the WAFC would allow the sunday game sides not to have to declare their teams until today. It’s just as easy to declare a squad and trim it Sat. instead of Friday.Pretty unfair on tipsters and supporters. And by the way Mike didn’t one of your guys do a pretty good job on Knott last time - I think it was O’Donoghue?Knotty not in the best form at the moment(will get there) so that makes Kernutt’s unavailability even more crucial.Real danger game now.

Murray and Reilly are the ins Fed.Its always a chop up at Basso, seen us with way better sides in the past and get dicked, like last year.

Thanks for that Whinnen and you are right we have had better sides and struggled at Bassendean.I think it might come down to the midfield and what they can create.I may be wrong but a stat that was mentioned on 91.3 on wednesday was that we won the clearances by 3.If a side wins by 169 points and that’s only the plus in that category it’s a bit of a worry.Hopefully I misheard but they were pretty sure.On a positive note I notice Hamilton and Yukich(emg) named in the ressies .Still think we have a good chance at victory but will be tough.

Chatting with Hamilton last week, it was his other hammy that he pulled during training. Both pegs are good and strong, he will be back within a few weeks.

probably the quietest game I’ve seen from Aaron Black and without Nelson & Keitel I’m not sure West Perth would have those 4 points today

Could say the same about a couple of Souths players !!!

last week yes Leed - not yesterday though

Round 8 WA Day
EP v, WP at Leederville
Shaping up as a big clash.
Then Joondalup Round 13

It was the umpires who kept the Districts in the game mun. That’s what my friend kept saying. Very good day at the Districts, love the red and the blue.

Considering that we had two top shelf defenders out and no real center half forward the boys did bloody well. Swans killed us in the air and they played tough and at times West Perth played undisciplined football. How did we get over the line, experience. Love Bombo valley, great place.
