Interesting to see in the league scratchie at the glorious SHARK park,we’ve elected in the squad of 27,to play 17 colts and reserve players which will give us an idea who can step up to the next level, particularly prolific ball winners like Boules, and the big bodied colt Dittmar, who apparently was on afew AFL scouts recruiting radar, and he did manage to play 1 league game last season..

Don’t share your viewpoint about the reason so many ressies and colts are playing league.five league players are playing ressies on limited time plus 7 players not playing at all plus our highly prized recruits in randall, taylor and wallis are missing. Not sure what the story is on stan wright but hammersley is playing as number 7.Should we be concerned?

I don’t know why you are pressing the panic button Chaddy my friend, you really reckon Jones,Robertson,Brayshaw,Narrier,Scott and North who are playing in the earlier reserves game won’t be first team regulars this season??Stan Wright who may struggle to become a league regular,is i believe recovering from covid, and you will be pleased to know that 2 Vic recruits in ANNANDALE and HILDEBRANT,will be donning the famous black and blue for the first time in the reserves game as well.

no panic here.considering they are playing with a list of 27 in the league game i am not sure why some league players are not playing in the main league game were they could be managed on limited time.and i know about the geelong falcon boys.i studied the teams this weekend and realised they were blow ins.i would rather the 27 for the league game reflected players who would be likely getting a game.
It will be interesting to see how Dittmar plays with the big boys, and with Stanley, can’t see a spot for him in the ones

Yes not a promising day for you Tim Tam,i’m pretty sure we’ve got you covered when the real season starts, but savour your pre season victory.
I see FART got over the jerkers by 5 goals as well. I don’t put too much into these games.
R/lucky, FFS, what’s up your arse? The bloke just made a comment on the game. If you get this shitfaced over a scratchie, how are you going to go in the real season if you cop a few floggings?
From what I saw in both grades, EP will cop plenty of hidings this year year
Oh dear, that won’t do R/L’s disposition any favours.
Didn’t go to the stadium of excellence, but have been reliably informed that the Vic recruit Annandale showed some promise as a forward in the reserves, and the joondy recruit Mehdat showed he can take a grab in the league game as well as the young colt Thomas Graham, who like his old man Richard,is capable in the air as well.We also appear to have found a gem in ex south fremantle player Kyle Hammersley who has a touch of class and a bit of toughness as will Hamish Brayshaw who played a very solid first half in the reserves before being rested. And in further good news the Sparks boys, who were apparently reluctant to get vaccinated, have returned, and centre half back Fullgrabe is recovering well from post season surgery,so i can hardly wait to get this season started.

KFC by my reckoning you had 17 to 18 first team regulars in the league team,so there is a fair chance that you will continue to be the Bulldogs bitches, which is a shame because you use to do well in that rivalry once upon a time.

Well it was a response to a comment i found confusing,so i had to clarify my position 58 so is that OK withyou?

I still found that result a little surprising B.C.as the Joondalup Falcons had a very strong side on paper.
If Freo stay fit, Peel will be definitely be there and about come finals time.
RL would of thought EF had about another 7-9 to come in for best 22…Jupp, Boekhorst, Murdock, Schoenfeld, O’ Reilly for sure and maybe McGuire, plus Goddard, Williamson and McDonald who all played in the reserves match. EP looked like they had more best 22 out though…but then again not sure of EP squad.
How was the battle between Jones and Goddard in the reserves?

Jones i believe never suited up,and Tom Amos who rucked for us in the league was a little disappointing, but i would say Mr FREEZE that i would be conservative in saying that at least a dozen would be injected into yesterdays side.
Yeah thought as much mate…hopefully both sides can stay injury free and push for finals…
Scott Jones #28 played first half in reserves.
