Interesting selection this week.Busslinger,Ramsay,Hyphen are in and Hammersley,Narrier and Simpson are out.It will change the mix of the team.Out one tall forward and two smaller forwards and in are one tall back, one midfielder and a small forward..I was hoping for a different side this week.Ramsay improves the midfield ,and our forward line looks less pedestrian.I will be interested to see how Busslinger goes as our tall backs are very iffy.A good game to bring him in.If we win by a lot it won’t tell us too much but should we win with a small margin or lose than the coach will have more headaches.
A small win or loss here and I will
pack the caravan up and come back for next year.
Can’t see EP in any danger of losing this match. Old mate saying earlier they are almost unbackable. Currently sitting on a dollar 5c for the win. The other bastards over 11 $.
$11 punt is better value than paying the entry at the gate
A ugly 13 goal win.The first 15 minutes were diabolical.the second quarter was excellent.the third quarter was annoying as we played some good football and then gave away two goals to be outscored by the Beagles.Solid last quarter. It was a patchy performance and not one to get too excited about.Positives is our percentage and we are back in the five.Playing Watts as a forward and second ruck was a interesting move.Small forwards are a concern. If i wasn’t sitting near the interchange i wouldn’t have know Mcguire was playing and his one kick was a terrific snap.I suspect the coach will keep experimenting to improve the right mix of players.
Thanks for the summary, Chaddy.
I couldn’t make it along yesterday due to work commitments.
However, the percentage boost is very handy, plus it’s always good to beat the mob that we were once “enslaved” to.
