ROUND 4 V $UBI

Probably incase of a very late withdrawal, as was the case with mountford a few weeks ago

We could not beat he reigning premiers with 7 missing premiership players. from last year. You see it as a achievement and i see it as a lost opportunity.

Well last years 8th placed team finishing within a point of a reigning premiers team fielding 15 premiership players is quite a sound effort, and clearly indicates an upward spiral trend in performance, but you would have to have a modicum of basic football knowledge to understand this.

My point is as far as emergencies are concerned, they should use players from their own actual list like a Dixon, as they can’t predict if a tall or mid will come out at the last second.

We are on the same page R2019.If we are aspiring to be a top 5 side.this year. We have to beat nearly every team that finished above us last year.We failed against the sharks who seem to have improved and a subi side with still some premiership players missing. The fact that we couldn’t shows we need to improve a a lot..We turned over the ball too often on saturday and good sides seem to find ways to win close matches.I think we have improved from last year but i think we need to improve a lot to be a serious top 5 threat..The area which concerns me most is our key talls who are our achilles heel and none leave me with any confidence. It was something that was not addressed in our recruiting and we don’t have too many alternatives.

This time last year we were 0/4 with a percentage of 60,and now we are currently sitting 4th at 2/4 with a percentage of 120,defeated top5 side Swans, who just knocked off the Tigers, went within 1 point of defeating reigning premiers SUBI who were virtually full strength,so if was Royal2019 i would take it as an insult he shared any views with you,as you are clearly quite clueless.

Great to see you haven’t lost your inability to argue rationally when some disagrees with you, keep it up cos it gives me a laugh.

I hope Gordon Narrier spends the next 2 weeks practicing his goal kicking.

Beautiful mover Narrier and found some lovely positions. The goal kicking needs work or maybe just an off day. At this stage I would play Taylor and work him into some fitness and form.

I hope he just had a day off missing those 3 sitters, and as far as the other bloke is concerned,i don’t know if he will ever have the discipline to get fit.

Fit enough to be in our best 22 in my opinion Lucky. We need goals no matter how fat the kicker is. Robbo looks to be carrying an ankle or something which I hope is not long term.

As hard as I try to not comment abt the league I find that there is a need for something to be said abt Mr Narrier.

Against EF he did just south of nothing, when he did get the ball it was him trying to a be a smart RRR’s (oops) and again this week when he had the chance to have a simple shot he once again tried to be a clever penis. If he gets a game against Claremont then there is a problem.

As for Taylor from what I understand he was up for selection but failed to front for a session and was not selected, he has for me shown that there is an element of class there and should be in the team and should be at FF or on the HFF.

Agree Grump, Narrier has a lot of upside compared with most on our list but probably needs to get some runs on the board in the reserves. Taylor providing he does turn up to training should play league, we will not win many games without more goal kickers. He is the most talented at the club so play him or move on.

Not sure about upside (just my ill informed opinion) I would have McGuire and Taylor in the side any day.

If you don’t think a player with that athletic ability has any upside at WAFL level I think that’s the end of conversation.

The problem is not his athletic ability it is his team thought process, why go for the across the body 20% shot whn he had time and space to straighten and kick a goal, three times he tried the spectacular and … !
