How long has Papertalk been at Perth?
Papertalk was at Perth early last year and then went away. He came back for preseason this year, put in the hard yards and has played some good football at ressies level and league level this season.
I was expecting a response this week after the East Fremantle game and after watching that first quarter I was pleasantly surprised at the level they were playing to.
I didn’t expect it to last though as I thought the class of South Fremantle would shine through in the end. What I did expect to last though was the basic dedication and application to the footy that after qrt time seemed non existent. I’m not accusing anyone of not trying but how can they play like they did in the first quarter and then dish up what they did for the other three.
In the last 8 quarters of footy we have played 3 good ones and 5 of the worst ever seen. Got to be above the shoulders - we crumble mentally under any sort of pressure and fall apart totally.
But I was still shocked to see we only touched the footy 256 times as a side - an average of what 13 per player!!! We went into game with an average of 327 so it was a shocker. Surely it has been a while since a team had such a low disposal count…

Fresh off my 2 week spell here,but not the football,the last 2 weeks for the League Team,have been Deadset SHAMEFULL,APPALLING,DISGRACFULL!

DIABOLICAL was one word used by Percy on Monday Morning,amongst a few other things.If I didn’t have Match Day Duties,I probably would have given the players an Almighty Burst on Sunday,after holding my tongue at Moss St!
If anyone within the playing group and Football Department(including the President,CEO and Directo of Football))can figure out what the Hell is wrong with the League Team and Club,please act with Absolute Urgency will yers?

The Club has singled out that angry supporter on Tuesday,getting a player,which didn’t matter who,to do their Dirty work for them.
But in reality,The Club should be Singled Out by the Supporters Big Time and Often until things Improve,Rapidly!

What angry supporter would that be Grassy? Is this from last weekends game? Have I missed something here because I would have thought there was a lot more than one angry supporter.
Well from where I sat,there was an Almighty Outburst coming from within our 3/4 Time Huddle.
The Ground Announcer thought our Coach was going Ballistic and really,who could blame him.But I found out later,an angry chap went Berko at Earl.
Understandable Frustration,but wrong Target.
Before we move on from last week,I can’t let things pass without giving the Ressies a Salute for their TOP EFFORT in Winning by 8 Goals.
People can say what they want about Reserves Footy.
But No one can deny that the 22 who pulled on the Demons Guernsey with this TEAM deserve a Ton of Accolades for their All Round Great Footy.
I could name a few players,but for now,WELL DONE to ALL of you!
You did yourselves and The Club Proud last week against the Top of The Ladder Doggies!
