C2 action packed weekend ahead. Last week canning made work of cott. Canning Vale continues its surge with a big win over Belmont. Gossy did enough against basso. Balla competitive but Kingsley too good. Piara continues to hold top spot with a win over Valley.
Belmont were very disappointing last week and while balla were not too bad. I’m sure Belmont can bounce back in this one but I hope they don’t get caught slipping or balla might do the unthinkable. Belmont by 6 goals
Canning with a few injury concerns still played out a solid win. The do have some good depth. Basso nearly pinched it back in rd 3 falling by 7 points. I think the canning boys will be stronger in this one. Canning by 4 goals
GOTR….. . I expect the patio area to be full and loud at Gossy. A must win game to keep in touch with the five, otherwise you can pretty much put a line through them for the season. Canning vale have shifted out of third gear and are absolutely playing fantastic. I’m expecting gossy to throw everything at this game so it’s important canning keeps their cool heads in the game. Valley need to find away to start winning games as time is running out. They have a better percentage than the two above them but need to start winning games. If a miracle was to happen this weekend it would send shockwaves through the c2 comp. Unfortunately I don’t think that will happen. Kingsley by 5 goals
closing out the middle third and the next 4 weeks after is when season’s are made or lost! Valley had their chances, like many games, on the weekend against Piara and let it slip. Piara when they needed to in the 4th took about 5 mins to get themselves a handy buffer to hold on. From all reports was a ripping contest decided by 5 mins in the 4th.
Belmont Vs Ballajura - this could be a very interesting game with Belmont getting smacked by the Cougars and Balla more than handy against Kingsley. If I was looking at results I’d be heading in to this game thinking its winnable for sure from a Royals point of view. I am tipping The Bombers by 2 goals but I will not be surprised if Royals get their first win.
Canning vs Bassendean - Canning are not travelling well and Basso put up a fair effort against Gozzie … I am going to tip Basso in an upset here by 3 goals.
Gosnells Vs Canning Vale - Cougars are unstoppable at the moment and found some ripping form in the middle third. Gosnells are not going to have a good run home and Cougars are set for a 10 goal mauling here.

Kingsley Vs Valley - GOTR - My pick for match of the round as Valley have been competitive but not been able to get up late over some teams and has cost them a top 5 spot at the moment but the tide will turn. They’re super young with half the team under 20. Kingsley are on top with Piara for a reason. They have their eyes set on taking top spot and need a win here to keep that in check. I am going the upset with Valley by 2 goals as I know it’ll swing soon.

Valley, once again, leading at 3/4 time and got run over. If they make finals they will do some damage but they may have missed the boat.
Belmont back to their winning ways by 66 over Balla, Canning by just 5 points over Basso, Cougars mauled the Hawks by 54 points, Piara with a % booster over Cott by 105 and Kingsley trailing by 2.5 goals at 3/4 time turned it on in the last to win by 23.
