Rnd 1 - SF v WP - Freo

Will be interesting to see our side for the opener v Garlic munching ferals…

must admit haven’t seen much of the pre season fixtures, but sounds like we’ve been playing 2nd string sides in the league with a number of league ‘regulars’ from seasons past in the 2’s…???

Thoughts lads…?

Feeling a bit the same about this one, have not seen any pre season, however am quite confident we can start the year with a win, a loss would be a a let down for mine after some upbeat talk.

Lets hope for a decent turn out, our attendances last year were shocking.

In our first scratchie against Subi we had half of our senior players & the rest were made up of colts & resies. Last week against EP we had a few more thus a stronger showing. Saunders & Dell’Olio will make a big difference when they come back in and play together.

Members & supporters turn away quickly when teams continue to lose games.
Early wins is the key here to success and then the fans will come more often than not.

Yep , sure do Roman, see you there mate.

Hey mate, what is the go with Saunders…?

He missed last week but should play tomorrow night.

We are already underrated by the critics and Ozfooty goers, suits us down to the ground. Lets see what the end result brings us later tonight shall we !

It’s a 50-50 game Leedy!

There has been some close encounters over the past 5 or so years Roman, this will be similar unless we answer the critics and get pumped in the first round.

Should be a great game Leedy mate - have a beer or three for me will ya , I’m in the middle of my work swing sadly brother

Best of luck to both sides

Should be a tough game Leedy, is that you in your profile pic? if so I’ll meet you inside the George Griller press box after the game.

I believe that model was 28 at the time bazza, which makes her 60 now
might need to clear that press box.

should be a fantastic night for footy down there. nice and cool.

Leedy the only person down playing WP is you mate  …anyway folk picked WP last year to finish top 2 and got 3rd degree burns…cant blame folk for sitting on the fence with WP…howz that little Kiwi going these days?
