Recently retired Claremont Reserves Timekeeper Geoff Currie,passed away a couple of weeks back.
Geoff served as a Timekeeper in a Colts and Reserves capacity,in tandem with the Late Arthur Hughes,who served as Claremont’s League Timekeeper for many years,before splitting the Reserves Duties with current League Timekeeper Ed Coyle.
Geoff was always keeping good company with the various Timekeepers he shared the booth with and was a good host after a Colts Game,escorting the Visiting Colts Timekeeper to the Colts after game Function and providing good tucker.
He was a good fella and I’m sure his family will miss him greatly.
