RIP Andrew Krakouer

Gone too soon, just 42. 2010 was one of the greatest individual seasons in WAFL history. Very sad/

i took my boys (we are all subi supporters) to the 2010 grand final because they wanted to see andrew krakouer play as he had just won the sandover medal. they were 12 and 10 at the time. his game that day was the best individual performance by a footballer i had ever seen live and i was 48 at the time. rip andrew…condolences to family and friends x

It was a privilege to be at Subiaco Oval on that day in September 2010 to witness the greatest individual performance ever seen in a WAFL grand final. Andrew willed Swans across the line that day when all logic suggested that Claremont should have won comfortably. I’m sure the club will find a way to commemerate him on Saturday.
Condolences to his family and friends. RIP

His 2010 season (not just the GF) was full of the most exciting footy you could ever wish to see, certainly the most dominant season I have seen by one player in the WAFL in the last 45 years, it was a pleasure to watch.
Selling candy, taking speccies, kicking miraculous goals, having over 50 disposals in games, including 42 & 4 in the GF.
R.I.P Kraks

He carried Swans to a premiership.
his grand final performance was one of the best i have seen
