Its a mystery as to what our line up will look like. Apparently the Rothams may not play along with Peirce, Johnson, Moulton and Black missed the 3 x Scratchies. Hoping Swadling, Carpenter and either Bewick or Wooden play.

Clinical display, our best game since the Premiership win. If that is our standard going forward then we are in for a reasonable season. Roan Steele played a great game and Sprigg was brilliant.
Managed to see the replay and it was a pretty impressive performance. The Swannies posters were obviously disappointed but when you looked at it there was no denying the effort they put in.Sure the skill levels, game plan and execution were a little off but it was the first game of the season- plenty of time to rectify. The point is it makes WP’s performance even better. The commitment and pressure acts were top class and everyone contributed and Swans were not allowed to create their flowing game which got them to a preliminary final last season.Sprigg’s second quarter was exceptional and he played well all day and Steele is all class with great balance and ball skills. One of the pleasing aspects was contributions from “lesser lights “ like Paterson,Dixon and De Marte in that they contributed greatly with the one percenters - didn’t necessarily get a stat but did the team thing.Bevan will be important this year also. All in all a great first up effort and on to Perth - which will be an interesting test.
