What a low dog act by this knobhead. Sledging a kid about his dead father is one of the lowest acts I’ve seen on the footy field for a long time. 3 week suspension would have been more appropriate.
That makes as much sense as the broke arse deal your club’s done to remain at the Shit Pit.

What an absolute flog and a wowser you are. Not to mention how embarrassingly inaccurate you are. What a flog. What Zac Mainwaring allegedly said to young Oscar Hine-Baston would be considered bullying and he would be sacked in any other workspace. Gutless piece of shit, then can’t handle shit being thrown back at him the little snitch.
What I’ve heard is Claremont haven’t impressed anyone in the WAFL with their players actions and earned themselves an unflattering reputation.
And for fuck sake of anyone is laying on you and not getting off then an off the cuff harmless remark is the least of a reaction most people would do. The fact our player has copped a week for that is a disgrace and pathetic.
All Claremont has done is confirmed their reputation often said in jest as the handbag swingers and petticoats.
How silly of you and Zac himself to bring up the death of his father in the media by his actions. I don’t think Dad would be too impressed having played in a very tough era against some of the hardest wingmen in the game the likes of Dipper and Milane just to name a couple.
58 Shark, do you not read? Or do you read and not comprehend? Or are you so keen to be sanctimonious that you don’t bother to learn the facts? As DD said, there was no reference to ZM’s father’s death. ZM sledged Hines-Baston over not getting drafted (strange comment from a player who has also not been drafted - at least at age 19, HB still has a chance) and our player responded by suggesting ZM was only getting a game on the back of his name. Suggesting that someone its not good enough to crack a league game is, I would have thought, a pretty common insult.
As to Quartermaine, I understand the current climate is what it is. If the umpire had overheard the comment and reported it, fair enough. That’s what umpires do and what they would be instructed to do. But for the player, after the game, to approach the ump saying “Pleathe, Thir, that player was mean to me” is about as weak as it gets.
