Preliminary Final: East Perth vs Claremont

Not sure what day this will be played but looks like Saturday will be the best weather wise.

Nice dry week with weather reaching a maximum of 26° on Friday but rain forecast for Friday night and all weekend with temperatures dropping.

If it’s a Sunday game then it will be another wet and cold day. Claremont should feel right at home on the Leederville Oval playing surface.

Its Sunday so more wet weather

And apparently quite windy too.

Is anyone else having trouble watching the colts? I can only see 2 match highlights. Streamer is garbage.

Tried on TV and phone with the same result.

Saw some of the Reserves preliminary final on the streamer thingy and a good close match throughout.

Good game of footy.Considering the s#itty conditions.
Looked like Claremont where going to run the Royals over.
Well done to Ep on their second GF appearance in a row.

Claremont had 15 more inside 50s but wasted so many opportunities. This one will hurt them. Their failure to win these big finals is becoming a real issue for them

I hope Prescott’s job is safe? Don’t wish to re-visit the Harris saga. Although Harris had the last laugh.

PresDud is the most overrated coach in the WAFL. Knows a cushy job when he sees it with a Revo Fitness gym membership included. How many years how has he coached this club without winning a flag? Making finals every year with the best zones in the WAFL but made it to the big dance once or twice and failed.

Colts and Ressies will be their again Mike
Dont think they worked hard enough in the second half.Everytime Bolton had the footy. He looked frustrated at the lack of leads ,available.

TBH Colts and Ressies premierships are irrelevant and noone really cares apart from the players involved. League flags are what clubs are judged on and the reality is that Claremont have only won 9 of their 24 finals since their last premiership in 2012

Excellent game of footy in the conditions. The players gave everything in the last minutes. Could have gone either way, but east Perth probably deserved the win.

Agree with this to an extent - We haven’t won a flag at the Tigers without the aid of WC or Dockers players aligned dropping back since maybe 1989. EP held their nerve and deserved the win

Was always going to remain as coach if he didn’t accept jobs elsewhere.
Always has the courage to play the younger talent and develops them well.

Made 5 Grand Finals in his different tenures

I was able to watch the reserves in France without any issues.

When I could be bothered to try again yes I was able to watch the reserves.

Great Game, well done EP.
