This is how the TAB rate each teams chances of winning the flag in 2021.
Claremont $2.75
South $3.20
Subiaco $6.50
Perth $7.00
Peel $11.00
West Perth $15.00
West Coast $21.00
East Fremantle $26.00
Royals $34.00
Swans $34.00

For South not to be favourite is a bit of a surprise.

Subiaco are way over the odds they should be. Swans are way under the odds they should be.

If I were a betting man which I’m not, I’d be taking a piece of the Souths action at $3.20.

Considering we’ve lost our spearhead who was our only genuine forward threat it’s a bit silly that we’re such hot favourites٫ but the tab isn’t very knowledgeable about Wafl and some good value prices can often be found٫ Definitely Subi in this case

Not sure Claremont, Subi or West Perth are scarey.
All sliders.
Time will tell.

Strange that SF aren’t clear favourites because they are in my view. Peel are the value bet, especially with SuperCoach Cam in charge. Could he become the greatest of all time WAFL coaches with a third premiership? People will talk about it for decades to come, “Cam Shepherd, boy could that guy coach a team!”

SuperCoach will be sacrificing a goat to the footy gods later this year hoping the dorks don’t make the finals. What fukn joke and insult to all WAFL supporters he and his nondescript club are.

Is Peel fielding a reserves team this year?

That’s pretty funny Daz.. I guess coaching is easy when you only have to worry about half a dozen blokes in the team and an AFL club looks after the rest.

pending any re-introductions of restrictions Mandurah are fielding reserves & the Druggles are back

the real coaching genius in Mandurah was revealed last season and was seen for what it really is - fraud & illusion

Some clubs of interest in 21.
West Perth never fancied but manage to get a competitive side on the paddock.
Surprised theres not to much improvement from East Perth.
Good to see Perth 7/1 and expected to make finals.
Peel will struggle with Freos already monster injury list.
Swans won’t trouble to many with there 8 goals a game score.
Subi are a bargain if they have a full list to choose from.

Peel were quite brilliant on Saturday but they had the services of Wilson, Blakely, Tucker (though he did a hammy early), Colyer, Henry, Duman, Treacy, Giro, Chapman, Switowski, Valenti, Joel Western and Thomas Leno. Those last two are going to be very good players but unlikely to see much if any action for Fremantle in 2021.

Of the others obviously Wilson is in Fremantle’s best 22, Blakely and Tucker should be. The rest are fringe players but watch out for Luke Valenti, if he doesn’t play for Fremantle he will be very good in the WAFL. But Peel have a talented bunch of their own. There’s the experience of Schofield, Howlett, Merrett, Lawler, Bell and Hancock. Then some very talented youngsters in Tyrone Thorne, Jarvis Pina, Jack Sears and David Yaccob.

Underestimate Peel at your peril this year.

Thank you Mr Peel Thunder, I hope you enjoy your season.

Yep not bad odds, but gee EP at 34 represents tremendous value as a smokie.

Bazza, it looks like some liked those odds about East Perth and Swans as they both have come into $26.00.
East Fremantle have drifted out to $34.00.
No change for the other teams.

I don’t think just kicking 8 goals or fewer in a game will be a winning score often.
