Perth v Swans away

I heard Edwards will be out for most of the rest of the H&A season but Johnno will resume running next week so he could be back sooner.

Very wasteful today dominated every stat in the whiteboard but couldn’t make it count on scoreboard. Bye comes at a good time.

Presty and Fairbank played really well in the ressies sharing the ruck and Hilly played well but didn’t see him in the last qtr hopefully managed minutes as was his first game in a while.

Scrappy game but got the job done. Stone was furious at q3, and rightly so, about coughing up late goals. We were 17p up late second q and conceded two, then were up by 23 late q3 and conceded again. Bad news about Edwards, though Sclensog was outstanding today. The backline was poor - at one stage, Swans had 4 goals from 7 inside 50s.

Just read this -do you have any idea what it has taken Jack to get back to playing for the club after 6 months of concussion symptoms - i doubt it!You are a piece of shit!Hide behind your username .So angry ..

Your comment about Jack Poole is the only thing that is putrid mate. A low act towards a player that has suffered from a lot of concussions that has threatened and curtailed his career. He is a courageous player who puts his head and body on the line though I saw him sensibly check himself when going back with the flight once today.

Surely you can do better than that SMTM?

Hey Mike. Understand your anger - but do your best to ignore the dickheads. smtm probably someone with an axe to grind. Never seen him post before and will ignore any further from him.

Super game from Schenslog…28 disposals 33 hitouts. Might have pinched a Sandover vote or two from Constable…37 disposals. Parfitt looked as though he had a tag but…26 disposals.
A bit of a sloppy win for mine but will take the 4 points. We still have trouble with an opposition who run hard in numbers. We seem to not know how to deal with it except to run paralell and waiting for the ball to come to them instead of running hard at it and competing.
For a bottom side Swans played very well and had us on the go all day. Just mho.

Jack made a terrible error, but he was no orphan.
Not sure our backline is that bad we have some good young players standing up.
There was a lot of fumbling and turnovers, all over the ground, and it was not our cleanest game of the year.
But a win is a win and for the moment at least we are top three.
7 wins out of 10 games is outstanding for this football club.
Stone is putting a lot of faith in lots of inexperienced youngsters, and I think long term it will pay dividends.

Just watched the mini match (8 minutes) what on earth was the 50m penalty paid against Taylor for late in the 3rd quarter?

Also seemed a very good crowed on the outer bank. Impressive.

It was juniors day TF so probably at least half a dozen junior teams and their mum’s and dad’s.

He is and you are right. It was possibly the best games of the season for Baxter Philip and Brodie McLean. It is noteworthy that since the start of the season 3 experienced players have left the club. Mark Stone has played youngsters like Cachard, Philip and McLean in front of those experienced players that have left the club.

Taylor’s 50m penalty I believe it was for dissent about the kick not being 15m

Great to see Cachard in the votes but need to keep our recruits with Schlensog, Parfitt & Constable who were also in the votes. Scoble in the votes with 3 possessions?

Scobes direct opponent only 3 as well - backs often only get a few.

Great interview.
We have done well.

Pretty funny trying to poach Corey Watts on the spot!!

Sounds like the podcast will be interesting listening tomorrow.

KCEF I was happy to hear Brad Dodd say they were still looking until 30/06.
