Reserves - No G-M? No Moore?

No Brayshaw or Fleiner either. Looks like all our emergencies are playing league.

Byrne, Kluske and Paton out. It was hard to see us winning anyway, but it would be a minor miracle now.

Good win considering we were undermanned. I guess we have to move on from that loss to SD, but it stings. We could be one game off top, % out of second, 2 games clear inside the 5… Good to win against a team around our level, but we can’t afford any more slip ups against lower sides.

The worry for me is again how uneven the performance was. Parf was heroic, and Constable had 29 touches. No other mid had 20. I’d like to know what has happened to Davis. His disposal has been frustrating for years, but he has been a good ball winner and provided good link up play from half back/wing, and provided some run and carry. Another poor game from Wills too, who doesn’t seem to be progressing. Hopefully just a slump. Or do we make a selection statement and drop one of them?

Tough ask against C next week. Hopefully Byrne and Paton back, two of Fleiner, Gardiner, Moore, Cameron and Roberts out. Kluske may come back, but he is interchangeable with about 9 other players.

Yes a good win considering. Both sides had key players missing but worth noting Subi only lost to Claremont last week by 3 points without Sokol and Borchett.

Was told Paton and Kluske had gastro but later told Paton has a calf so I think Kluske will be available next week. Hopefully Paton is one of those “calf awareness” things. Was sitting on a chair just behind the interchange.

Byrner injured a knuckle won’t be back until after the bye. Spoke to Schlenga he said everytime they put a round number he is jinxed sounds like not far away probably after the bye.

A good win by the ressies a bit to like there. Had a chat with JGM at half time he had calf tightness. Good bloke willing to play whatever role is asked. I’d be picking him next week just a hint.

Again Grassy - you are hijacking a threat with esoteric stuff. Remember not everyone has a mind like yours

It was a Joke Mate!

And you’re quite Free to blow it off and scroll down.

It isn’t hard to do,…

Love you mate.

But the threads lose coherence with (stream of consciousness)

Well I couldn’t resist a little dig with the cue.

And if people are a bit more awake to what West Coast got up during the week, you would have got the joke.

PS - I had moved on from that Joke in the morning. You didn’t have to keep mentioning it.

2 Good wins today.

Colts, what’s the Club Policy on 17’s again?Sorry to see the kids go through Morale Sapping Losses, when they are mismatched week after week.

Can’t one or 3 bigger bodies drop back,to get them into games?

Just watched the replay. The back line were fantastic. Best for me were Parff, Sing, Dean, Phillip, Johnson, Clarke and Tilbee.

It’s funny how Ressies players look better playing league. Roberts and Fleiner steady down back. Brayshaw good quick onto the boot - goal and his tackling/pressure was good. Moore ok but a bit fumbly. Hallett had 11 and I am looking forward to seeing his monster kick one day.

Poor old Cameron had three marks that weren’t paid. Must have been an umpire focus this week.

Good Crowd in the bar after and a fair crowd at the game.

Good to see Subi supporters more vocal than I remember them.

Would be lovely to beat Claremont - who seem to have the wobbles - next week.

For Subi - their number 9 at full back looked good and Mayo battled hard.

Fair post, but the Umpire focus on marking goes back before this week.

They seem to be fixated on Marks being taken in the purest sense and to be fair to Subi, theh were denied what seemed like a fair grab near Goals as well

How did you go watching the last qtr? I quit after watching our last goal having watched I reckon 20-25 minutes of ads in the first 20 minutes of the last qtr alone. That c..t of a station are a disgrace.

So if any questions get asked about the Length of the Finsl Quarter, one simply has to say give 7 a call.

Nothing Beats being at the Footy.

Just a bit tricky hearing the Radio Broadcast s few seconds behind the action, but still worth hearing the analysis at the breaks and after The Final Siren.

I only got quarter time and half time adds.

Really? So have to screen share with your TV?

I watched on my Laptop (MacBook Air)

Confirming

Byrne, Klusk, Paton out sick yesterday and Lures, Tomisini and S Clarke dropped (6 changes in total).

Who do we keep in next week if the three sick return

Hallett, Moore, Brayshaw, Fleiner and Roberts all did pretty well for their 1st-3rd games of the season.

Johnson the other in and obviously holds his spot (though he seems to do much better against poor opposition than strong)

Forgetting Johnson any of the other 5 will feel a little stiff getting dropped back.

Hopefully our coach is learning player management side of things.

To me I would say forward wise Brayshaw and Moore now jump over Bodle.

It was a Battle for both our Senior Teams. But pleasingly, they stepped up to the challenges presented them to prevail by 3 to 4 Goals.

The Ressies boys don’t usually get too much response in coming off(whatever the result),but they deserved a good cheer off, after working through the challenge of bridging a fair deficit, then running out convincing Winners, that was very pleasing to the eye.

Whilst the League Team overcame our own absentees,to draw away in an arm wrestle, standing up when the game was really up for grabs. There’s still a bit for the boys to work on,but I’m sure that will be discussed when going over the Tape.

The Important bit was getting STRAIGHT BACK INTO WINNING HABITS and KEEPING IT THAT WAY for the rest of the Season.

Easier said than done of course,at least from the supporter/fan’s angle. But I’m sure the Coaches and All the boys at All Levels, will focus on next week first(Claremont),then use the Bye to evaluate the Season, then reset short and long term goals to the appropriate point of the Season.

Despite the hold they have on us,I’m looking forward to the Claremont Game/s already,Rain,Hail or shine.
