Lol, what an idiot. Other 4 yes but for mine Baxter Philip was our best on ground. Elite intercept marks and spoils and showed composure with ball in hand.

Bit worried about our chances of remaining in the top 5 now..2 of the teams we pencilled in are now danger games..Subi have really turned the corner andcWest Perth with a new coach will cause problems too.
One week at a time GD and this week its EF who has lost two in a row and will be smarting. We have some real footy smarts at the club nowadays who should be able to guide us. I still maintain faith in Simpson hitting his tracks. Regan Clarke should hit his form of last year soon too. Maybe a late June 30 pick up? Look at the debutant for south on Saturday he was brilliant.
I understand why Perth fans are pessimistic by nature. But it would take a colossal choke to miss finals from here. Even if we won just 2 of our remaining games, to square the season at 9-9, Peel or WP would have to win 5 out of 7. The injury list no longer has Byrne and Simpson. With those guys back and hopefully Edwards, Poole and Johnston in coming weeks, I think we just have too much quality to miss from here.

Davis and Paton not on the injured list, yet. I will be surprised if Paton plays in the next 2 weeks. Had ice on the hammy at 3 qtr time. Davis was clearly hampered all game from midway through the first qtr. Left ankle.
TN I try to be optimistic every year.
But, alas usually by round 3 my expectations are shot to pieces.
This year is different; we have had a good start to the year.
In my humble opinion we have played 2 bad games against EF & Cl.
In the 2 losses against SF we were more than competitive and on Saturday while it was not our best game we fought it out in the last.
There is a lot to like about our journey, and I think of the top 5 we are the ones that can improve from here.
I am confident that we can win enough games to make the four.
It would be nice to win 1 at least.
I think we can finish 4th, I am not convinced about EP.
They are no where near the side they were last year.
