Playing for pride! If we can put four quarters together and not die in the arse like we did last week then I think we can break the winless streak and finally sing the song at the end of the game which ironically we last did against Peel in round 7.
Yes that’s right Mr. Perth have generally been in the mix up until ¾ time and then failed in the last quarter to go on with it. Not sure of the players response since the coaching saga but if the team is responding in a positive manner, that’s a good thing. But yes, need to put in a four quarter effort. Being played at Lathlain, one would think Perth to have the four points in the bag already.
Avoiding the wooden spoon should be enough incentive…a loss here and thats what we will get, another spoon for the cabinet!
We will know the character of this group 5pm Saturday!
Morabito,Griffin,Taberner, and Sylvia big ins for Peel I reckon they would be favorites.
Spot on PN, my tip is Peel, our lack of talls will tell on us I reckon.

Its told on us since Brett Spinks left the club…some 17 years ago!
The penny will drop one day.
Peel would start favourites with those ins. Especially when we have about 10 league players out injured or suspended.

It’s not that we lack talls, it’s the quality.

I dont know whether i agree with that statement,it may ring true (to a certain degree) with our rucks but definately not with our KPP’S!
However i do agree that we lack quality with what we do have.

I think our ruckmen are ok as far as hit outs go but they need to impose themselves more in marking contests andgeneral play aaround the ground.
More injuries. This is getting ridiculous.
Now J Morton and Smith are out.
Yep and you would have to think with a new coach comes a new fitness regime.
With our injuries players seem to spend an awful long time in rehab.
Yes but they’ve got our interchange working a treat!!!
I find it staggering that Deaves holds his spot. He missed two crucial and gettable goals in the 3r qtr last week. I hope Wellburn gets a run. Peel will win this.
DD, at least Deaves kicked 2 goals and as you say, should have kicked more. The week before against Subi I don’t think he touched the ball.
Geez just looking at the peel c?nts side frigg reckon u guys are in for a hard arvo bit like us… Hope not but it will then b a three way battle for the spoon…
Is this the first Mortonless line up for the year? Clem Smith out to attend draft camp. Seriously what a joke. You’d reckon any recruiter worth his salt has seen enough of this guy already and the best place to see him in action is surely playing in the WAFL!
If that team last week was the weakest for the season I reckon its been outdone here.
The Damo legacy lives on - no depth, no fitness, no Stack. Liam Smith must be rapt he’s surfaced at Claremont. Will we see a cultural list purge there at the end of the year?
Could be a few coaching applicants withdrawing their applications if we get monstered by FART tomorrow.
Spot on Dazz. The team is getting weaker by the week yet no youngsters coming up to show what they have got.
I guess they keep playing a few “oldies” to allow them to show why they should be in red and black next year. IMHO not many of the borderline players should be on the list next season.
Strongest Peel side, on paper, that we have come up against for a long time. If they don’t win in a landslide then there is no hope for Peel Thunder.
Having said that, I am still going to the game. You just never know.
Dazz that Damo legacy must be wiped clean very early by the new coach. Bring on the cultural purge. I can’t wait. Top Priority.
Our boys must put on a good show regardless of the result. Our future head coach will be watching, if not at the ground, the results and the stats. Everyone is playing for their football future.
Colts have kicked the day off well losing to the bottom side and probably blown any chance of PFC having a team playing in the finals.
