Is there any substance to these rumors regarding a deal being done between Peel Thunder and Fremantle Dockers?
Absolutely none Mike, I have it from good authority that no Presidents have spoken to either of the AFL clubs.
I hope your right Leedy… they were looking like they’d stand up against the AFL teams along side the traditional clubs… East Perth, if indeed they get into bed with WCE will be the saddest outcome.

This comes from connections of the new coaches for each club. They are both under the impression that it will be in place for 2013 in some form.

What so you mean that all of their new recruits for next year will go to the two clubs in question?
I am not fully aware of how it will work. But from 2014 when it is officially underway they will not be able to recruit outside their zone, hence the strong recruting from Peel so far for 2013.
It is my understanding that Fremantle staff will be on board from 2013 and as many AFL listed players as possible will be shifted to the host clubs.
Freo want to move to Cockburn, take over Peel and put their own coaches in place at Peel..
its why Jacky is still undecided about moving down there..

Anchorman remember I posted this before the announcement which shows I had the right information and was correct that the host clubs would start in some form next season and fully in 2014.
As also mentioned in this thread I have heard Prescott is the man freo want. I only can confirm what most know is that Shephard is hardly good enough to coach a high school team.
It has been relayed to me that Swans players often laughed at his lack of skills
