What a great idea OFA with the new year rapidly approaching. Would be great to see the previous members of times gone by return if the desire is there. Not too difficult to follow a few simple guide lines one would think.
So far no banned members have returned, one old member who was banned, its not Leedy, said that he can log in but cant post. Also the email address ozfooty.net pings back his emails. What does one do, re-register or does everything goes back to how it used to be, just log in.
Hopefully the blokes that were banned want to come back. Maybe some will as the season approaches. We’ve had some stimulating ‘discussions’ and it’s great to be able to say what you mean (within reason) without someone fainting in shock. Last thing any site needs is to be dominated by the wokes of the world.
Good to hear that DD is no longer in charge. Look I enjoyed Ozfooty a great deal but DD’s reference to the previous treasurer as “the Jew” was disgraceful. I’m not a high horse rider but anyone who wants to be on a site he posts on, well, shame on you.
STT, the statement says that its under new management not new owners, are you sure that DD has sold the site. One old member still cant log in and emails are being rejected.
Some people never learn it seems. Entitled and ungrateful are words that immediately spring to mind. Give some people an inch and they take a mile. Stand the Test you are permanently banned. Unbelievable.
Winger is that Screemar you are referring to? His ban was temporary and had already expired. I’ve seen him logged in. My apologies his ban was still active, try posting now Screemar.

To all you Inspector Clouseau’s out there that are all OCD with your obsession and sense of entitlement about who owns this site. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. And for very good reasons as I’ve touched on previously it is my belief that the previous owners who created Ozfooty lost interest fast with all the cockfighting on here and legal threats.
If I knew the true state of this site when I took it over I wouldn’t have wasted my considerable time and dollars on it if I am being completely honest. There is far more to maintaining a website such as this than I imagined and as a result it cost me a considerable amount of money from lost income and what I had to pay to get this site upgraded, migrated to the newer platform.
The new owners asked me to continue as an admin which also takes up some of my time. The new owners also wish to remain anonymous. All I’ll say is they are offshore and far from our part of the world but you should all be grateful they have taken it over. They have expertise I don’t have and this site will require further major upgrades in the very near future.
So I suggest to those returning to show a bit of respect and gratitude or the olive branch might be withdrawn. I won’t put up with any smart arse comments aimed at me. If you can’t appreciate an offer to bury the hatchet then don’t bother coming here.
Try logging out and back in again Grump if you can’t post. Same for Leedy but I see you already created a new username. Some others were deleted completely so you can create your old one again.

Well said OFA. At days end who cares who owns this site? We just want to make sure it stays afloat for us all to contribute to and is not dragged down by a few idiots with hidden agendas.
Thanks for the Olive branch OFA. I think there will be an influx of valuable contributors in time for the start of the next WAFL season. Great to see Grump back for example. I enjoy the opportunity to discuss footy and other topics with a wide range of people so I think the vast majority of us appreciate the time and money you have invested in this site OFA.
As for the person who has been permanently banned, we are much better off without him. Never had a positive thing to say about anything from what I saw.

There’s a few old posters I’d like to see back. Screemar is definitely one from the old FG days who used to crack me up and is also a very staunch WP man. Cardy is another who would be good to get back on here and outerseagull as well. Very pleasing to see Grump back posting as although we didn’t see eye to eye on a few things, it would be pretty boring if everyone agreed on everything. Also he’s a passionate EP supporter especially where the juniors are concerned so welcome back Grump.
I don’t think some people here appreciate what the Ozfooty forum offers us. I joined 2 forums (not sporting ones) that are hosted by Facebook and ended up in jail on both of them. I’m no keyboard hero and don’t go overboard, but I won’t go woke. So wrap your fingers around this site boys and appreciate it.
According to that loser std, we are all losers for being a part of a website which includes someone who refers to some pollie scum as a jew. So basically the only reason he came back to make that post was to stir shit and call us all losers. What a sad kent good riddance
