I guess Stephen King is trying early to set an example to his group of what he expects after giving Oliver the news he is not wanted.
Should have been on the cards before, but King has set a new standard.
Oliver and Tracc look like moving on.
Oliver, Petracca, May, McVee and Spargo all heading out the door…all in Melbourne’s top 25…and have been for the last few years…Gawn, Viney and Lever wrong side of 30…how many years did Pickett sign on for…7?..bet he is regretting that decision now…though financially maybe not.
@Freezin , a club in distress.
Even after all the kerfuffle of the Hawks merger, and the massive assistance from the AFL pre their premiership, there appears to be no real improvement.
Remember the AFLs appointment of a CEO, the employment of Roos to coach them.
They have been on life support since before the emergence of the two life saving VFL teams.
its amazing to think that this was the club that won a flag only 4 years ago. Since then they have been plagued by a myraid of on and off field issues. New coach Steven King appears to be drawing a line in the sand and making a new start
