I think everone hates to see footballers injured regardless of which team they play for.
Very sad news to hear that the season is over before it began for Essendons Nic Martin.
A knee injury and operation has blown his season .
A player that got to the Bombers of his own making. A former Subiaco player who took the bull by the horns and made his his own way to the Bombers for preseason.
The Bombers have a good one here.
Hopefully he makes a fullrecovery and has a long career.
AM is that the same knee he did early last season?
V good player easily in the top 5 at the Bombers before the knee.
@SeniorSeagull I think it may be because in the report I read it was a new operation on a former injury.

Yes. 2021 premiership player for Subi then did a 6 week train on with WCE but wasn’t picked up. Had a crack at the Bummers and was given a chance. From memory kicked 5 goals and had it 30+ times on his AFL debut and the rest is history.
I think he was named in the 40 man AA squad last year but didn’t get a blazer. Carving out a terrific career nonetheless, so let’s hope he makes it back.
