Some nice new subtle changes to the forums.I like it.But still no likes and dislikes!!!

The Like button has finally arrived Anchorman.

I am trying to get the Like button to show who Likes the comment but because there is a dislike button maybe it’s too much to show. I think I’ll leave the Thank You button there, it compliments the Like/dislike feature.

Not sure if it is this end, but can’t get the emoticons working on posts.

Admin, what is the like btn.com ?Is it a like button or something else.

Yes very frustrating from my end I can tell you. There is only one like button showing per page. I have to upgrade to a paid version for unlimited likes. Quite ridiculous for a chat forum software and I have made them aware of the emoji problem.

Admin I sent you an email regarding signing in everytime to oz, is this issue going to be resolved anytime soon

All the posts now seem to be appearing back to front eg the last post on a topic now appears first on the top of the page not at the bottom as was the case previously?

Hey 'Beas mate - go into PREFERENCES (up the top of the page opposite your forum name & avatar)

  • you’ll get to your PROFILE PAGE

  • underneath a header that will read PROFILE for BEASLEY HUTTON ,you’ll see four banners - hit FORUM SETTINGS

  • then hit the first pop-up box PREFERRED FORUM SETTINGS

  • change message order to FIRST POST FIRST

Thanks Southerner but it was a setting someone changed in the administration area. Took me ages to find it but I have corrected it now. All should appear as normal now. Again I apologize but it is not my doing.

Reeko I have replied to your emails you have sent me maybe you need to check your spam box. Also I sent you a private message.

I have been reporting the Remember Me issue and this is the response.

"Regarding remember me function: It is related to cookies of local workstation. We have applied some function that will check if system cookie is disable and will show a pop up to remind user to enable cookie."

Depending on your browser you will need to go into settings usually this is accessed at the top right hand corner of your browser and need to find settings for cookies and see if they are allowed or disabled.

hi Admin,

None of my machines (4) will remember my username anymore but all other websites do on those machines. Iphone, ipad, 2 laptop all have same issue. Is there something else on the cookie side that is different or needs to be ticked? Cookes are enabled.

Thanks Viper I have taken a screenshot of this page highlighting your post for them to pull their finger out and fix this issue. Most browsers ask you anyway if you want it to remember your username and password regardless of the Remember Me function here. Have you tried closing the Ozfooty page and opening it again from your bookmarks? Sometimes that has the effect of refreshing settings.

Yeah been like this for a while and I always close all pages and open fresh.
