What I should TELL you is this -
Make yourselves more aware of some basic Road Rules,be more responsible for your riding of these Scooters,at the very least for the sake of your own Safety,as well as Members of the General Public!
A few too many youngsters coming a right cropper lately!
and a total ban anywhere within 500m of any shopping centre
immediately forthwith
I’ve seen some ridiculously unsafe usage of the things
especially leaving the entrances
there will be far more serious accidents forthcoming
Seen far too many farkwits come off their scooters on a Fri / Sat night pissed as…good way to keep my suturing and plaster of paris skills up to date…though some very nasty demtal injuries…all bravado till they come a cropper…then it’s tears and more tears…not worth the ‘fun’ TBH…
So since that poor guy was killed by a tourist riding a hired escooter in the City they banned those hired escooters in city. As usual they wait for a fatality before they find their brains. I mean who would have thought it was only a matter of time before a fatality in the city? In fact the only thing that’s amazing about that is it took that long for a fatality.
Stagger out of a pub or nightclub and let’s run amok on an escooter. If I was related to than man I’d be hiring a lawyer to sue the local government that allowed it as well as the state government.
By the way, that young tourist was today sentenced to 4 years, out in 2 on good behaviour.
