Now the Industrial Relations Commission has incredibly deregistered the Australian Nurses Federation.

A bloke Gary Adshead is speaking to just labelled the McGowan government a bully for now threatening legal action against Fiona Stanley. He said anyone who disagrees with his government faces being threatened with legal action.
IRC have sensibly backed down from deregistering the ANF. Without a doubt in my mind Mr McGoo has his dirty little fingerprints all over this. If only we had a votable opposition by the time the next election comes around.

Interesting theory DD. While I may not be a fan of Mr M, I don’t think his powers reach that far where he can tell the industrial relations commission what to do. After all they are an independent tribunal responsible for breaking deadlocks or disputes of industrial relations.
If as reported yesterday the union didn’t follow advice as outlined by industrial relations, then you would expect them to step in regardless of who is in charge.
Having said all that, after recently having a family member in hospital, Nurses don’t get paid enough for what they do, but neither do cops, teachers, prison guards and most other people in the workforce that support the community.

A sticking point for SNEAKY is if he gives the Nurses a pay rise, teachers automatically get another salary increase commensurate with the Nurses. The government can’t afford it and remember the Police will effectively get a salary raise too.
If Labor think socialism is the best fit for all…,. Why don’t they piss off to China for good and leave us to our democracy that encourages citizens to work hard to achieve a successful life. We have far to many people with no incentive to work because of generous handouts.
