The AFL more than likely will take a pat on the back for somuch exciting football on the last H&A Sunday.Three games that matched the finals type of footy.
Saints refused to lay down for the Giants. And maybe on a Toby master class saved the Giants from a bad loss. When toby was wanted, Toby was there.
Brissie Hawks could have gone either way.An exciting game that went right to the wire.
After a slowish start,Fremantle put ontheir running shoes and ran the Dog ragged. But even in the first quarter when the Dog held sway, maybe the game was being set up by the Dockers defence. The back line were tight as a fishes and kept the Naughton and Darcy combo at bay.And that continued all the way through.
The second quarter was brilliant from the Dockers.Serong broke out, Treacy took the game by he scruff of the neck.Voss followed suit and Amiss gave something of what we have been waiting for.Reid looked totally cool and comfortable with his quarter.
I think that the pressure and the physicality of the Fremantle boys got to the Dogs.
Some say they should have won by more, but I had a feeling that a lot of theboys were spent.
But though some hadn’t contributed a lot early, they stood up when it counted.Freddys run in the last was much needed.
Now to look forward to a home final, more than likely against the Suns.Unless the Bombers surprise and take the four points.
Will be the Hawks or the Suns Am (assuming Gold Coast win of course). If the Suns beat Essendon by around 5 goals they will go ahead of the Hawks on percentage and move into 7th spot

I wonder who GC would rather play. Freo here or GWS on the eastern seaboard?

Good question. I think the shorter trip.
