A game dominated by inept umpires who wished to be heard.. Some decisions were worthy of a DRS being initiated.. About time they learnt that the Umpires are there to direct the traffic & award free kicks to the offenders. Hate to see this lot in the Grand Final..
Razor Ray genuinely thinks he’s a star of the game. Nearly every physical contest resulted in a whistle and then a commentary on the decision by the loudly miked up umpire. And then they missed the throw that led to the Giants winning goal!
And since when are umpires there to bark instructions at players? Surely they are supposed to just umpire the game. They have now become controllers of the game rather than just umpires.
Another sensational come from behind win by the Lions, great effort especially given they had lost their #1 key forward and #1 ruckman. The bloke that came in for the ruck did a sensational job in the second half against the best ruckman in the business.
