I think we can win 2 (S & EP), the other 3 will be a great test of where we are at. Win at least one of those puts us at 6/9 after 9 games. Wow a good base to work from and not unrealistic.
Not a big fan of looking beyond the next game. EF are a side to be reckoned with, especially with Kerr likely to play again and with a game already under his belt. A great test for Hodge?? If we can show the same sort of spirit we did against Swans (always difficult to lose a lead and come back and win) then we’re in with a show. Losing Bateman puts us a little behind the eight ball, especially as his likely replacement, Jacobs, is on report. Did Murray have a quiet day in the reserves? (his stats seems to suggest as much). Smith could go back up with an Eagles injury. Great win by the reserves by all accounts - Colledge and Hug were among the best. Great to see both given a chance over the coming weeks.
If Perth go into next weeks game with the same intensity and belief that they showed yesterday, there’s no reason why they can’t beat the Sharks next week. Even though I am not a Demons fan, I would love to see them do well and challenge for finals this year, just for the reason that they have been down for so long. Good luck!
Reserves behind all day, pretty sure heard the Coach say to the players at 3/4 time we have a chance to win here even though we haven’t played well for 3 quarters. Strong last quarter and Colledge a certainty for League in the next few weeks { but what would I know }
EF got knocked of by swans away so hopefully that gives us some tenacity to win! I watched the game on ABC simultaneously with the Perth game on 720 and the subi backline were unable to land a punch or prevent midfielders running forward so Perth backs will be a key part of a win!
None of the next 4 are gimmees but I would give my left testy to beat filth at home and subi away that’s for sure. As for the primadonas of the comp Claremont they will probably win foxtel cup again so would be a keen fan only to tip against that one!
