What an absolute outrage that this privileged prick has got away with a 10 and a half year sentence for killing a young woman and seriously injuring an Uber driver.
Goes to show there are different rules for some. The prick was doing 137km p/hr at the time of impact on a 50km p/hr road in a residential area. He had 0.187 alcohol in his system.
Those two factors should alone equate to first degree murder no different to someone picking up a rifle and deliberately shooting someone in the head.
There should be not only community outrage at this pathetic sentence there should be outrage in the legal profession and by our politicians. And it’s time for you RAC and Road Safety Council to grow a set and speak up.

My first thoughts were that it was light on, FORRESTOR sentenced him and she is the ex head of the DPP. So I have my doubts they will appeal.
Then I watched the footage and was more outraged given the level of reckless driving. It’s incredible he didnt kill anyone else.
I got even angrier when I heard he was doing his Masters in Bio Science ( tax payers expense) in Jail and will go straight into Dad Billion dollar Medico company on release.
The victims father was right the old defence line of no winners is an insult, if your alive after and plenty of money your a winner compared to his dead daughter.
BC I’m sure in these sorts of cases where someone has knowingly got themselves intoxicated and knowingly speeding at such a lethal speed, then the car they are driving is treated as a deadly weapon whether they intended to harm someone or not the fact you engaged in such reckless behaviour you should be treated as though it is likely you were going to kill someone.
Not much different to deliberately driving a vehicle into a crowd of people. But hey, politicians make a lot of noise when the community is outraged and say they’ll do this and do that but in this case and previous cases similar, nothing has changed.

No this sentence was outrageous,apparently the maximum sentence for manslaughter is life imprisonment,and apparently this unhinged doc was driving like a madman over a 2 day period,and it was inevitable he was going to have an accident through his reckless actions,particularly when you’ve willingly decided to swig a bottle of piss on his fateful joyride,driving at speeds of 130 kilometres,in 50 k streets zones.The laws of probability in the event of him killing someone in an accident were very high,and he should’ve been sentenced accordingly.
Recall the bloke who’s heavily pregnant wife and child were killed in a pink VW at the intersection of Eighth Avenue and Whatley Crescent, Maylands back in the 90’s cleaned up by a speeding vehicle driven through a red light.
A young mother in her 30’s killed instantly with her teenage daughter in the car at the intersection of The Strand and Morley Dr, Dianella by a speeding motorist being pursued by police. Have we learnt NOTHING?
