Absolutely useless at night because it’s too f#cking bright you d#mb f#cks like I told you.
Young d#mb and full of c#m is how I describe the young ones today responsible for all these bright as f#ck LED scoreboards, Caltex and Vibe fuel price boards and advertising signage.
Cannot see the score it is a TOTAL BLUR and people advertising are blowing their dough.
And don’t get me started on bloody road side signs that are so bright it is outright dangerous!!!
Yep 100% WAG. And the irony is they are put in place to keep workers safe but do the opposite by blinding drivers. But the very people who are employed to protect us and keep law and order are the biggest and worst offenders.
If you happen to be confronted with an emergency vehicle, especially a police car with its wonderful new LED lights in full glory then you better just pull over because they are totally blinding.
All of it is totally unnecessary. Why do we have night mode on our mobile devices? To adjust the brightness and filter out the blue light at night. So why do these morons employ the signs on full beams with no filter, no adjustment at night?
Another one is LED street lights and LED lights on vehicles these days. I could go on but I’ll leave it there. It does my head in.
It’s just user error R&B, the brightness can be adjusted easily via the tablet or phone that WC and Perth connect to the scoreboard from.
Probably easier than adjusting the brightness on your TV…use your influence to get it sorted 
You would think so TT and you shouldn’t be surprised to hear me tell you I exhausted ALL avenues a few years ago.
I had previously and successfully complained about a super bright new LED advertising sign installed on a small group of industrial units on Orrong Rd several years ago just west of Leach Hwy.
I regularly drove that route at night taking passengers from Perth airport to the city and other destinations. I contacted the TOVP and suggested the owner of the sign set it to reduce brightness to 50% at around 6m each day. Hey presto they did and problem fixed and guess what? You can look at the sign without squinting and looking away and still read it clearly.
So I contacted the TOVP, Perth then president and CEO, spoke to the lads in the Front Row Screens truck at the back of Lathlain one day and emailed the WCE who ultimately control the scoreboard.
Young chick said the people who provided the scoreboard said there is a light sensor that detects the amount of light and supposed to adjust the brightness.
I said well obviously it’s not working and maybe the lights that come on at night counter that? I suggested doing it manually with a couple of mouse clicks to adjust the brightness to 50% and see the difference it makes on the TV. Must have put it in the not important tray. Such a simple fix but not for these geniuses who build these scoreboards and signage and too hard a task for the WCE lass to follow through.
Maybe she did and upstairs didn’t!
