A little bird said the next state election over there is due in Oct of twenty 24. I suppose it gives the in coming leader plenty of time to settle in.
The greedy mole got out after realising what a cluster fuck of a problem she has created by winning the rights to the 2032 Olympics when they don’t have a suitable stadium.
They want to completely demolish the Gabba and rebuild it which will only create an extra 8000 seats.
A heritage listed hundred year old primary school will have to go and apparently the Gabba already hangs over a busy street. This could be Victoria’s Commonwealth Games catastrophe all over again.
And while the Gabba is facing the wrecking ball they want to build a 20,000 seat stadium at the Brisbane Showgrounds to host AFL and cricket.
I can only imagine that would be like instead of building Perth Stadium we knock down Subiaco Oval and while we are rebuilding it to increase the capacity to 50,000, we build a 20,000 seat stadium at the Claremont Showgrounds. Lol ??
