Interesting to see C grade earns plenty of interest on this platform ?
Wonder why the 'ultimate of AMMO footy eg..A and B grade lack interest?
Been a year or so…

I imagine it’s because most of the players in these grades are guns for hire who can’t cut it at WAFL level and don’t have any love or affiliation for their team.
C grade teams/clubs - salt of the earth types and subsequent interest.
Apparently ‘so called’ financial gain only happens in C4?
Which it did not…
Amazing,
Still no interest in A and B grade ?
Im sure its not a case of ‘concern’ of drawing attention to “said” club suporter commenting
Unfortunately I think the massive university clubs kill alot of the community interest in A & B grade competition.
Basil,
Valid comment.
It certainly does make it more difficult for community clubs that dont have a collage pathway for youth footballers to follow with their mates.
However I believe there is a little more to it?
Dont wanna share how much money is being thrown around.
Kingsway on top of A grade ladder. NO connections with any university
Correct KTB,
As mentioned previously on another thread the issues that occured to me, my family (fellow coach) and the players we were coaching…that missed out on the dream of a premiership are not going away!
I was targeted as a C4 coach, we had limited $$ resources to defend ourselves.
I (we) were found guilty of something that I did not do…the outcome affected so many innocent parties.
Moving fwd, why tout it as a amatuer football league when that is clearly questionable.
Yet the perpetrators dont seem to be ‘charged’ and/ or subsequently penalised ?
I was referring to general community interest in the competition not ability to win it.
But in all honesty I dont think this is a bad thing as it would start to encroach on the WAFL competition which is trying to hold its place and doesnt need anymore competition from an A grade competition.
Basil,
Regardless …it is imperative that all ‘Ammo’ clubs are competing on a level playing field.
As mentioned earlier the lack of PFL Integrity charges and penalties is DEAFENING!!!
Chris
I’m sure if you have any evidence of your allegations that are able to be proven then the PFL would be happy to put some time and effort into following up and potentially charge club/s and players.
But if your allegations are just hearsay via a mate of a mate who heard from a bloke at the pub then nothings going to happen.
Understand what happened to your club several seasons ago now, may not have followed a process that your club might have considered fair but the person in that role is no longer part of the PFL, probably time you moved on with it.
Hi TT,
A mate has just alerted me to your response and thanks for interest.
Im out atm…and look fwd to getting back to you.
Hi TT,
Back home…will address a couple of points quickly.
First off, Like the PFL i know what some said players are getting paid.
Can i prove it? NO.
Do i have any interest in proving…again NO.
Why, its common knowledge and not my business.
It however is the PFL’s business.
My concern moving fwd is…the travesty that I, my family and ‘then’ players were subjected too.
I will certainly have more to share.
Just because a individual ‘retires’ does not absolve the PFL of accountability
Any Wembley boys on here? Can you tell me how Jesse Glass-McCasker was traveling in his 6 games this year? Listed in the Budget on the Perth league and reserves list. Will probably play reserves tomorrow against Claremont.
Wanneroo!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sounds like you’re disappointed Whitfords won’t be playing Wanneroo in B Grade next year…
Seems to be plenty going on in B Grade colts with both West Coast and Collegians having games taken off them
West Coast disqualified for 7 of their fixtures.
What did they get done for?
As it was told to me, named 5 players in the final round of the home and away that didn’t play that game. I assume to get qualified for finals.
The league then checked past games during the year and found further indiscretions and west coast also self reported. Resulting in points taken off them.
The rumour I heard was that someone rang into the league and then advised of similar happenings at collegians. They were only advised on Thursday that were not playing finals. Baldivis colts got elevated at the last minute.
