ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING SENIOR COACH KRIS MASSIE
Hi Atikah,
As all Glenelg members and supporters are aware, 2013 has been a disappointing year for our League team, and the Board has taken the view that the Club needs to seek a new coaching direction.
The Glenelg Football Club wishes to announce that Kris Massie will not have his contract renewed as Senior Coach for season 2014.
The club recently conducted a thorough review into the club’s football performance with the process identifying areas that need to be addressed for our club to realise its potential moving forward.
The Glenelg Football Club believes it will be in a better position to do this with a new Senior Coach in season 2014.
Club President Nick Chigwidden on behalf of the Board wishes to publicly thank Kris for his significant and valuable contribution during his two and a half years as Senior Coach.
“Kris has played a major role in providing many young players the opportunity to play League Football to which the club is extremely grateful”
In wake of Kris’s departure the Club remains totally focused on success in season 2014 following a very disappointing season.
The Glenelg Football Club will immediately undertake the process of recruiting a Senior Coach for season 2014.
“As all Glenelg members and supporters are aware, 2013 has been a disappointing year for our League team, and the Board has taken the view that the Club needs to seek a new coaching direction.
Nick Chigwidden
President
