I ditched Foxtel last year and went a year cold turkey relying on FTA and some top up via Telstra Mobile Free Live Stream, but have just signed up to Kayo.
Leaves Foxtel for dead in my view, now that I have a good NBN service and speed, I reckon Sports Streaming services are the future.
A fraction of the cost , higher quality picture, more to see, on demand, and without all the package crap Foxtels dated platform required.
Hooking up this with my Optus Sport means I have just about everything covered and more.
Yep at less than a buck a day it’s a bargain. Seems to cover most things - the notably exceptions premier League and European champions League. Being able to stream after the event is very handy. If you have a smart TV you can stream sports on that. If you are an AFL fan it is very handy - but unfortunately it still shows ads on some AFL games - but not all.
Ti Em , its the Foxtel Package plus a few odds and bods, but they lost Premier League and Champions League rights a few years ago, that’s where my Optus Sports comes in.
The Live Stream and Mini Match Format on demand is great, but they don’t quite have all the on demand features Optus has, no doubt that will come.
I’ve had it for about a year now. I ditched Foxtel and have saved enough to buy out Cody Legget’s contract I reckon!! a shite load more sport and I can watch any one of them that takes my fancy. Also like the way you can config your preferences. I’ve got it on my ipad and laptop and can hook it up to the TV when I want to.
From Google:
The newest addition to the local sports streaming landscape, Kayo Sports will have every session and race of the 2019 Formula 1 championship on offer both live, and on demand.Mar 12, 2019
But going with a streaming service basically means you have to go with a rip off full blown max speed unlimited NBN service at the slick price of around $100 a month. When they catch up with the rest of the world and that comes down to around $60 a month I’ll consider it. We are being absolutely conned with this NBN disaster.

Not sure what on earth you are looking at but most NBN 50 Mpbs speeds ( more than enough for live streaming ) are well cheaper than that.
And pretty soon the old ADSL is being turned off any way.
I was on TPG 50 plan, u/l download max speed 40 something but in reality you most likely getting half that speed. I suggest you download the speed test app and check what speed you are actually getting.
I’m with Boost mobile which uses the Telstra network and I’ve got up to 200 plus MBPS. The TPG plan I was on I got only 20 something, was paying an extra $10 for free local and calls to mobiles but you still pay about 30c a call to 13 numbers. That plan costs $69.99 plus $10 for the call package so I decided for over $80 a month for what I was getting did not represent good value.
But I value having a home phone so I downgraded to $50 a month but get a max nbn speed of 11mbps and 50 peak 50 off peak download limit. Between that and $40 a month mobile plan I think I get 30 gig a month but any unused rolls over and unlimited calls to any number (incl 13) and cheap o/seas rates to most countries.
Looking to get Kayo for the footy season, Outer has it and reckons its v good, like BC we are with iprimus up here in York, did the Ookla speed test and we get on ave about 27mbps which runs netflix fine, thats about what I had in my old office down in Burswood when we hooked up the NBN a couple of years ago, and way better than we had down in Bayswater pre NBN, we got 1.2mbps, absolute 3rd world stuff!!

Thailand has a far better internet service than the Abbott/Turnbull abortion known as the NBN. On the other hand, mobile (4G/3G) is way behind Oz.
As I have a reliable 200/50 fibre connection with unlimited download, (and less government restrictions) I can stream pretty much anything, but have retained my access the ABC Australia TV service. This shows 6 AFL games per weekend, with ad interruptions only during normal breaks (1/4, 1/2 time etc). Other games I can stream, as above.
